Wheeler Wrecker is a very good company. But they have a tow driver in Bessemer Al named Cortez aka Red. He towed a vehicle for me that he supposedly fixed. He charged me for the mechanic work. He claims a new battery installed and oil change. But did not provide receipts of purchase. He will not answer the phone. The reason for this post is that I trusted him because of the Wheeler truck logo. Not good for your large operation.

Quick to answer the phone, quick pickup/dropoff times. Driver was very efficient. Would definitely recommend them.

They sent the VERY FIRST invoice via certified mail. This caused a huge inconvenience in having to miss time from work due to post office hours and additionally, the cost incurred for certified mail is expensive and im certain they figure that into your invoice! Ridiculous. Additionally, no choice was given as to what garage or repair/service facility the wrecked vehicle was to be towed. It was towed to their lot. I feel more attention should be brought to these Wrecker services who so blatantly take advantage of us simply bc they "have a contract with" a city, town or county.
