From 7:16 am to 2:30 pm My family members car was towed (private tow in) the tow was settled with the business it was towed from. The problem began with Downtown Towing who sent us to 20th street, the car wasn't there, then to 170th street where it was eventually located. Once the car was recovered loss and damage was observed. We were advised to report it at the main office 20th street where the customer service went further downhill. I asked for a manifest to use the information to file a damage and loss of property report. The tow receipt was given to the clerk so they could lookup the incident. We were advised that a manifest is not required for private tow-ins. We called the North Miami Beach Police for the tow information but none was found in the system. "Tow companies in Florida are required to report private tow-ins within 30 minutes of the tow" to the jurisdiction of the tow. Two ladies and a gentleman aproached us from the office being combative requesting damage information and additional paperwork when we already provided a paid receipt. Due to the overall negative experience I requested the receipt back and they refused until police were called.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Downtown Towing Company. Yesterday I called to arrange payment and have my car released, but I was told there was no one available to accept my payment and that I would have to wait until Monday. Because of this, my bill continues to increase for two more days, which is something I cannot afford. Right now I don’t have a job, and my car is my only way to survive and get back on my feet. Being forced to wait just to make a payment feels unfair and puts me in an even harder financial situation. A company that operates 24/7 should have a way to accept payment or help customers resolve urgent situations like this. This has caused me a lot of stress and frustration. I am beyond outraged by Downtown Towing Company. Despite claiming to be a 24/7 service, they left me stranded and told me I couldn’t even make a payment until Monday. This is absolutely unacceptable. My car is essential for my livelihood, and their lack of empathy and professionalism is disgraceful. They’re more interested in letting the bill pile up than actually helping their customers. A so-called “family-owned” business should know better and actually care about the community they serve. Completely disappointed and disgusted by their behavior and poor service. They are still from the community they say they are serving!?… shame on this family onw bussines

Basically stole my car and took it to their lot and are most likely gonna charge me extra in the morning. Also I was told it will cost 250-280 while at the crash site, once we arrived home he raised the price to $350. We got into a little fuss and the guy decided to drive off with my car.
