Absolutely aweful, I’m helping a disabled man with a Traumatic Brain Injury recover his vehicle from them, he has a hard time getting around. With bad hips. Tried to get it on day 2. I drove ahead of the owner to attempt to prevent the additional $250 Lien fee which they charge on day 3. Which is charged at 12:01 am no matter the time of the tow. It was Sunday also. I was also refused multiple times an itemized invoice. At 12:01 am at roughly 64 hours they wanted $843 cash only. Which that admin Lien fee should only be charged after it’s completed. So what? It got charged and that paperwork was completed and sent out instantly? IF YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS, BE SMART, get it quick and DONT HESITATE TO USE AN ATTORNEY. Go to clerk and pay it into a bond and then they must release the vehicle, then go to court and let the judge decide. Then please let others know. And file complaints with • Hillsborough County Consumer Protection • Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services • If police-ordered tow → Tampa Police Department • If private property tow → check local ordinance compliance
