My issue isn’t so much with the actual “towing” because things happen. My issue with this company is that they have someone doing the administrative work and answering (or not answering) phones who is highly unprofessional. I called to get an amount to help family who had their car towed and asked why I was unable to use a credit card since I was not down there with them. I asked her how we can get to a resolution so they were not charged even more money. My exact words to her were “if they do not have the $235 now they sure as hell are not going to have a higher amount”. She told me that the $235 was the price for after hours pick up but if they picked it up during business hours it was only $175. I again asked her if there was another way to resolve this because I was trying to help family out. She hung up on me and then refused to answer the phone when I called back several times. She then proceeds to text me from I’m guessing her personal number telling me she’s unable to give me any information on the car because I was not the registered owner. I only wanted a price so I knew what to send and to make sure the amount was covered. I then had my family member, who owns the car, try to call several times to confirm the price only for the call to be sent to voicemail or it was picked up and hung up. Fast forward to finally getting the confirmed price, which I have texts to prove, my family heads to pick up the car. The driver tells them it will be $225 and that the lady had given me the wrong quote for a different car. I text the number again telling her the situation and letting her know, needless to say once they got their money they didn’t care anymore. On another note, they did say the driver was extremely nice and professional so I will give them that.

King’s Towing sent us a wheel lift all the way down to our Fort Morgan beach house. There, Justice helped us recover 2 of our SUVs from a steep sand pit. The whole way, he was always thoughtful of our concerns on how to get it out with minimal damage, and with a bit of on the spot creativity, he collaborated our ideas and successfully pulled both cars out of a tough spot with zero damage to either cars. In the end, he charged us for WAY less than many others were offering that morning and drove out in as little as 30 minutes compared to the 2-3 hour wait from other wreckers. Needless to say, I highly recommend King’s Towing and Recovery services. +++++ And another shoutout to the man, Justice. Thank you so much God Bless y’all.

The guy that owns this company is a complete tool. This whole company is a scam. I’ll start by saying my car got towed from village of hickory in foley. I parked in front of a friend’s house for 4 hours around 7-11pm. Right on the curb in front of the house. There is a sign at the front of the neighborhood that says unauthorized vehicles will be towed, but there is no guest parking, stickers on cars, or any way to tell who is “authorized” and who isn’t. They don’t even ask for license plate numbers when they move in the neighborhood. When I called the foley police department 2 times to ask whom towed my car / report my car stolen (since the operator did not state which company took my car) the operator that was working at 1am told me that it was “definitely not stolen. It was a private management company that towed it” and wouldn’t not give me ANY more information on whom towed my vehicle. I had to call every towing company near me, the worker at auto medic wrecker told me it was going to be either dirty south or kings towing. And “good luck sweetheart. I’ve dealt with them before, you’re probably about to be cussed out and they can charge whatever they want”. My brother and I showed up when they opened at 9, nobody was there. The sign on the door said we don’t tolerate attitudes and we only take cash or exact change. No card. So the lady that finally answers the phone says she is dropping her kid off at school and going to be there in “like an hour”. So I waited until 10 for her to show and unlock the gate to my vehicle, she takes my cash, and doesn’t even count it, Pockets it and immediately, takes a picture of my license (is this legal) and disappears after opening the gate. So she got my money and my license and I didn't even get as much as a receipt- ( receipt is REQUIRED by law ). Villiage of hickory is definitely getting a cut with the company’s. Just a huge scam. Kings towing , Villige rig hickory and the foley police department are all suspicious. To the owner- you know how to contact me to discuss further!!!
