A year ago my car had broke down, due to a broken belt. My car was wrongfully towed away, it was on the side of the road less than 6 hours. Before I could find help. I called Swanson's Towing. Doug was out of state at the time. He sent his employee to my house, picked me up and took me to Lake City, to pick my car up. His employee towed my car, to an auto store so I could buy the belt I needed. That is when i was told that Doug was buying my belt and his worker put it on for me. Doug and I still talk to this day. He is very reasonably priced. Doug is good hearted , honest and cares about the people he is able to help. He's like family, like I said we've kept in touch, and we still haven't met in person. If this sounds like the kind of man and company you are looking for, when you need help, then call Swanson's Towing & Recovery. You won't get better service anywhere else. I promise that!! Doug had a time finding us, however did not give up on locating us. Our motor coach alternator went kaput, drained the batteries and somehow affected the starter solenoid. Doug trouble shoot, did not waste anytime. After we got juice back into batteries, it still would not start. Doug found corrosion on solenoid cables and this was the problem. Our insurance covered him and we were grateful beyond all the anxiety thinking we would have to get towed, so after he showed us where to replace the solenoid and alternator we were ready to bug out, it was a hot sweaty day, but we were back on the road and gave Doug some extra green back, he was all business and courteous to explain the mechanics pertaining to our breakdown. Treat him good, he will likewise help he has a good heart in our opinion 5stars

Swanson was by far the best experience I have had when needing a jump. I called and spoke with the owner and he promptly was able to send someone to me when I was stranded in the cold rainy night. Chad whom he sent showed up quick and went above and beyond to help me get going and out of the miserable cold rain. He even went as far as pulling his own battery out of his truck after all else failed and got my car running. I have already placed them on my speed dial and they will always be my first call from now on! They did not trick me on pricing like other lake city roadside assistance companies have in the past and was professional and polite and I owe these guys more than they charged me! I will not forget it and they will earn my business again if I am ever in need! Thank you Chad & Mr Swanson!
