I recently had my car towed by this company while visiting my daughter at her apartment complex. Although I understand that I was not parked in a designated guest spot, I called the company simply to confirm the towing details and cost. During the call, I tried to express my frustration about the apartment complex’s lack of adequate guest parking—not toward the towing company itself—but the person I spoke with, who said he was the owner, was very rude and hung up on me. When I called back to ask if the hang-up was intentional, I was told yes, because he said he didn’t have to listen to me express myself. I was not being disrespectful, only trying to explain my situation. I found this response very unprofessional and disappointing. Regardless of the reason for the tow, customers deserve basic courtesy and professionalism when communicating with a business.

Just used OTC for the first time. I had scheduled a towing the day before I needed. Denny had sent me a text to confirm to and from location and gave me a price right then. Price was very fair and he was spot on with showing up on time to pick up the car. Will definitely be using OTC and Denny for any future towing needs I may have. Appreciate you taking care of my vehicle Denny!

I’ve got to say, I’m disappointed. I worked with OTC in the past when managing multi-family housing in the area. In meeting them on the business side they were friendly and attentive. Flip that, I now manage properties elsewhere and my car was towed from my mom’s community where she’s borrowing it because her battery died. She parked it outside of her apartment because my father is disabled and can’t walk far. OTC towed it. I get it, maybe the community has a contract with them. I call, explain the mix up and I’m met with machismo attitude. I was talked over, told that because my mom was rude I’d have to pay. That I’d have to pay cash only also. Odd… especially when I’ve done business with you before. I guess it was good see what my residents would deal with when calling. The guy that I spoke to who was to upset that I said I’d call my other properties and see who had a better relationship to speak with him (which he deemed as a threat) was Chris. He claimed to be the owner, which is strange because when I used them in the past he wasn’t who I worked with. Update: Chris lied. He is not the owner. A guy named Mario is. They also broke the mud flap to my car.
