While you're on hold, their commercial tells you how no job is too small, yet when I needed them to simply winch me out of the snow in my own driveway they told me they couldn't do it, followed by radio silence and complete end of communication. LOL what a joke! Called Cruise Control towing and they arrived within a half an hour and had me good to go within another 30 minutes.

I had a very frustrating experience with Interstate Towing after breaking down on the Mass Pike. Because the Pike is considered “state police territory”, I had no choice but to use the tow company dispatched by MSP. I specifically asked for my car to be towed to a repair shop, and the driver confirmed that it would be. Instead, without any call or notice, my vehicle was taken to Interstate’s impound lot in Sturbridge. I was then charged $500 just to tow the car to their yard, and told it would be another $150 to tow it to the shop I originally requested - which is literally right next door to Interstate. Given that there was no alternative tow option available, this pricing felt excessive and unfair. The lack of communication about where my car was actually being taken was especially frustrating. If I had been told upfront that the car would go to their lot regardless, I could have at least made an informed decision. They also didn’t bother to call me to let me know that the car went back to their lot and I’m sure they wouldn’t have called since there is financial incentive to keep the car on their lot as long as possible. In the end, it was cheaper for me to have AAA tow the car from Interstate’s impound to the shop, which says a lot. Overall, the experience felt like price gouging in a situation where the customer has no real choice. Shame on Interstate for taking advantage of that.

11 mile tow cost my friend that I went to pick up with his other truck and grabbed his camper and it still cost him over $1500 literally highway robbery I’m filing a complaint with the attorney general’s office I’m sure the tariffs are the reason for the increase in price ……
