I hired Skeeter’s to tow a tandem dump truck about 1mile. While they were at the location we requested they simply lift the front of a dump trailer, so we could place blocks under the stands. I received the invoice and the tow was $353 and they charged $550 to simply lift the front of the trailer, so we could put blocks under it. If they had to drive out to my lot to just lift the trailer, I might could understand. However, the driver only had to move over about 30 feet. I called in to complain and was told how much their truck cost as the reason they had to charge so much. She agreed to take part of it off, but paying $325 for that is still highway robbery. I was looking for a new tow company, but this will not be the one. Randy
