We have been taking our cars to Derek at Aurora Clutch and More for a long time. It started with clutches, and last week he took care of draining and refilling the transmission in my Prius. When the task is too big or complicated for me to address, I take it to Derek! Always wonderfully friendly, helpful, and fair!

I had a really excellent experience with Aurora Clutch. My clutch failed unexpectedly and my car was stalled. Derek talked me through how to safely drive to his shop, which honestly made a stressful situation manageable. He was kind, professional, and clearly knows what he’s doing. He fixed the clutch the very next day and even gave me a ride home, which was above and beyond. His pricing was fair and reasonable. If you’re looking for someone who is skilled, straightforward, and genuinely helpful, I highly recommend Aurora Clutch.

My car has not run right since I took it here for timing belt and battery replacements. My car stalled within 5 minutes of leaving the shop the first time. So did they not test drive? Spark plugs were loose. Continued to stall so I took it in a third time, but idle Is still rough. Derek kept saying the timing belt ‘was tight’ and that may be but the timing is also off. Also, the alert sounds for leaving lights on or key in ignition ceased to function after coming out of this shop. Why? At least they tried to keep at it, but a car should not come out of a shop running worse than when it went in for routine maintenance. And it should definitely not stall in traffic while you are driving home. Derek came out and got it running enough to bring it back to shop, but I lost significant time I shouldn’t have bringing it in 3 separate times.
