We purchased our truck in 2018 here and have received good service. Our sedan was purchased elsewhere but is serviced here and we have received good service over the years. Both vehicles have more than 100K miles and going strong and part of the reason is the completion of scheduled maintenance. So no major repairs, just regular scheduled maintenance. When I drive in they know me by name and have remembered to find answers to questions I had from my previous visit.

This dealership does not deserve your business. Full stop. I'm not writing this because I'm frustrated. I'm writing this because what happened to me was deliberate, calculated, and needs to be said out loud so the next person doesn't walk into the same trap. I called before I made the drive. I asked point-blank about a specific vehicle. The answer was instant — yes, it's here, we have multiple like it. No hesitation. No "let me verify." Just a clean, practiced response from someone whose job is to say whatever it takes to get you in the car headed their direction. I believed them. I drove over an hour through rural Alabama on that promise. There was no vehicle. Gone. "Just sold." "Couldn't find it." The excuse mutated every time I pushed. Because that's what happens when there's no truth underneath — the story keeps changing because there's nothing solid to come back to. They didn't apologize. They didn't explain. They didn't even pretend to feel bad about the hour I'd just burned driving to a dealership based on a lie. What they did instead reveals exactly who they are. Before I could even process what had happened, a salesperson was already in motion — steering, redirecting, pivoting to vehicles I never asked about and didn't want. It was reflexive. Automatic. The kind of smooth, immediate redirect that only comes from doing it over and over again to customer after customer who made the same mistake I did. This is not an accident. This is not a one-time breakdown in communication. This is the business model. Phone calls exist to manufacture false confidence. Confirmations exist to get you to make the drive. And once you're standing on that lot — tired, frustrated, and two hours deep into your day — the pressure begins. They're counting on sunk cost. They're counting on you being too worn down to leave empty-handed. Don't give them the chance. Do not call ahead thinking a "yes" means anything. Do not trust a confirmation. Do not assume basic human decency is operating inside that building. Every tool in their arsenal is pointed at one thing — getting your money by any means necessary, including looking you in the eye and lying without flinching. I came looking for a vehicle. I left with nothing but a wasted day and a clear picture of exactly who Chuck Stevens is. Now you have that picture too. Use it.
