Blew a tire on Highway 34 right at the Nebraska/Iowa border...without a spare. I called a few tow shops and because I have a lowered car, couldn't really help. Finally I got a recommendation from a shop to call Quality and I'm glad I did. They got me someone within the hour. I'm terrible with names. But super nice guy, took care to not damage my car, and unloaded it just as gingerly. Really appreciate Quality Auto Repair & Towing for helping out. Hopefully I never have to use them again! But if I have to get another tow...it'll be these guys for sure

First off the customer service was really good, the person I talked to knew what they have on had on hand and the cost of the item with the shipping. I had it freight the motor to San Diego were I installed it.I found that most shops that sell used motors just cut all the electrical connector and hoses and leave them on the motor for you to remove. I did not have to worry about that here. I took my old motor out and swap over everything and installed the new one. Went really easy
Went and got head lights for my car today to save money. Kendall was definitely sure that the head lights worked. Well one work did and the other didn't so I call him back even tho I have a 30 warranty. He pretty much said I'm outta luck are you serious? Yah ok that's the last time I will ever go back there.
My family loves shopping at American auto part for long years. Every time we're in need we just call, they always ask for our name. They always have the part we need in the store, ready for u to take home, every part is clean to. every thing is so affordable. Every one is kind and the parts comes with a warranty. Now that my truck is back up and running we wanna give thanks to American auto and thank God for such a good company in the neighborhood. Amen
They were awesome. I got there exactly as they opened the doors. I was greeted immediately by a "good morning" and "what can I help you find". I gave him what little info I had and within minutes he printed out a paper and showed me the car. Very friendly and very knowledgeable! I will definitely go back.

Cost me two cars a third of a tank. Do not recommend.

Address:1912 Ave M, Kearney, NE (Zipcode: 68847)Phone:Open hours:Open from 08:00 am to 17:00 pmStatus:ClosedWe just traveled 2-1/2 hours to get a part for our van. We called ahead and told them what type of vehicle we had and they said they would call us back to confirm that they had the part. We called back an hour later to see if they had checked on the part and we were told that they hadn’t had a chance to check on the part but they would get to it soon, at this time we confirmed our vehicle type, G30, 1 ton van, 1994 Chevy. They called back and confirmed they had one. We drove the 2-1:2 hours and when we got there the one they had was for a 1996 Chevy Pickup. Completely wrong, wasting our gas and time. We felt that there was no customer service on their part. We were blamed on the vehicle identification mistake and basically told there was nothing the could do to help us.. This was a real disappointment! E

Address:2045 25 Rd, Kearney, NE (Zipcode: 68847)Phone:Open hours:Open from 08:00 am to 05:30 pmStatus:ClosedFriendly employees, well organized. Wish they had option for the part to be pulled for you, even if they charged something for it...
Called about some parts I was looking for, they said they had them on hand, and quoted me a price. I drove 4 hours and when I got there the prices were not what they said over the phone, plus they would have to pull the parts later and ship them to me. They finally agreed to let me go pull my own parts, and I went home with what I came for. They do have alot of inventory, but not sure about the business practices.

Address:210 E M St, Gering, NE (Zipcode: 69341)Phone:Open hours:Open from 08:00 am to 17:00 pmStatus:ClosedI called Rich's looking for a rear door for an older Astro Van after coming up empty at the junkyards in my immediate area. James and Steve(?) were helpful in describing the part they had on the lot and its condition. No rudeness or issues with answering my questions and sending pictures. Very fair price not worth haggling over for the complete door including panel, glass, and its removal from the donor vehicle. I ordered and paid for the part over the phone on a Friday morning. They removed the part same day. It was evident the part was removed with care so as not to damage it or any of the necessary components for the install. They even arranged for Saturday pickup to accommodate me coming from out of town on the weekend. Great parts buying experience all around.

They took the time to tell me how to separate things and we're patient with my questions Plus they also give a pretty good price.

Address:924 W 4th Ave, Holdrege, NE (Zipcode: 68949)Phone:Open hours:Open from 07:30 am to 17:00 pmStatus:ClosedI called Tri-State Auto Salvage looking for a good 5.9 cummins engine block that could be bored and used. They said they had one for $500 plus $175 shipping so I bought it. After receiving it I found it had already been bored .040 oversize and .040 pistons are all that was available for it, so it was useless. The block arrived with rust all over it and two of the cylinders scored ( which would not of been a problem if it was standard bore) I contacted them to see what we could do and he said he would look and see if they had another. He never called back, so I eventually called and guess what? They don't have one. SURPRISE!!! So I asked him what we could do, and he said what he sent was a rebuild able block. I just have to sleeve it, that only cost about $1200 to do all six holes. They had no way to check it in their shop, guess they can't read a digital caliper? That is not what I asked for, I asked for a good usable block that could be bored. So finally he offered he would let me return it at MY OWN SHIPPING EXPENSE, so I would be out $150 for getting it here and at least $150 for returning it. This people offer no backing on what they sell and are complete crooks when it comes to making something right with a customer. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!!!!!!
