Matt and the team at this place was top notch. There were a few questions about whether or not everything on the rear axle I ordered was the same as my S10. Matt took the time to send pics of the part I ordered compared to pics of my axle. No longer manufactured parts are difficult to get good info on. He was incredibly patient and helpful with me doing research on both parts. We were able to come to the conclusion that everything was a match. While shopping for a good used engine to replace the one in my mini van that dropped a valve, I ran across American Auto Parts. It was exactly what I needed, at a very reasonable price, and a location not terribly far from where I live. A quick phone call put me in touch with Matt, who proved to be friendly and extremely helpful with any questions I had. I happened to have a friend that was traveling to their city, so I made arrangements to have him pick the engine up for me. I came here today looking for a door and a side panel for a truck for the company that I work for. We found what we needed and the staff was incredibly friendly to help us. They even assisted us loading the heavy items. Everyone in the store was fantastic and we appreciate all the help that they gave us. I originally had an order with American Auto that I placed through their website. I was given a call shortly after that the part had already been sold and I would be refunded. Frustrated with not hearing anything after this call, I reached out to let them know my frustrations. However, when I got in touch with the company, Ryan informed me that they actually had been able to secure another part and were going to send it out to me. I was shocked! This car is extremely hard to find parts for and I couldn’t believe they were able to still uphold my original transaction and get one sent to me. They even waved shipping costs after I had incorrectly set it to pick up the part, instead of shipping it to me multiple states away.
