Came here several weeks ago . Backtracking to leave review out of appreciation/ respect. Have come here on two occasions on emergency situations needing a used part to get my vehicle back on road or I would of been stuck and even more broke $ . Grateful for individual who made sure part was correct on both occasions.Same consistentcy on parts quality, service , and parts affordability over 2-4 year span is exceptional. Thanks again!

Was told about this place. Bring them bricks they will pay. But this place is picky and they short change you if you don't know prices. They have to resale the bricks so much be in good condition.

I don't know about that scale. I think their scale needs to be recalibrated, and the lady that is inside is not very friendly at all

Once again Chauncey’s have proven themselves to be the best in customer services. This is the second time they’ve rescued me this year and the service was excellent. Not only did the operator perform most professionally, he also calmed the angst that I was experiencing through his conversations with me. CHAUNCEY’S IS THE BEST!

I have to give credit where credit is due. I was traveling from New Jersey to Florida and my transmission blew in Georgia. Luckily I had my truck towed to Emmett Head. They had an exact fit sitting on their shelf. They completed the transmission swap in about 4 hours and I was back on the road. I completed my trip to Florida and then drove back to New Jersey. This incident happened in October of 2020. It is now May of 2025 and I’m am still driving the truck with the same transmission that Emmett Head installed. I forgot to leave a review when it happened but I just found the receipt in my glove box and reminded me that they should be recognized for their outstanding work. I would highly recommend Emmett Head and I would go to them again if I ever break down in Georgia. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The problem I had was I had 32pds of lead wheel balancing weights. Half was the clip on kind and half were the stick on type which should have been considered clean lead and we had them separated. The guy sat both buckets on the scale, and they should have brought different prices. When I said something about it , he said they didn't separate them when they bought them. They ended up giving me .64 cents for 32pds of lead, .02 cents per pd. That's equal to about 2 batteries which I know for a fact would have brought more than .64 cents. In short they got us for about $13 . I should have asked for my lead back knowing I was getting screwed even after I said something about it. If they do every customer like that they must be making a killing. Now that I know how they roll, I know how to bring my stuff in . I'll get my money back, I just hate to have to do it dishonestly.

On the one hand, the ladies at the scale and the cashier were very nice and helpful. However, the guy in the back that was supposed to direct & help us unload never bothered to lift a finger or knowledge I was there. He spent all his time talking on the phone. Also, their prices are about 1/2 of other recyclers so I’ll drive a little more to (to make more).

My Mountain home is in a rural community in N GA. I'm sincerely grateful that his emergency towing services were available. Dennis Townsend was the only company that willingly responded and provided a professional service. One of the most genuine, honest & proven reliable people. Thank you

They’ve been okay in the past when I’ve needed them albeit on the ruder side of services, absolutely atrocious that I can call four times to ring out and never get a call back, not everyone is close enough or free enough to just pop in and not everyone has an in state number. Please try and do better about answering your calls, no way to do buisness to not answer and even less a way to not return the calls you’ve missed, that’s just money you guys are letting walk away. Your number changing is not my problem on the slightest. If you have access to your google add to reply to my review you have access to take down a phone number that isn’t yours. Very sad that you practice buisness like this. Depressing.
