Did not have the best experience. Bought an alternator. Installed, and did not work. Took back with receipt, to only get $8 and the rest in store credit. Did not want to get another part and waste time installing after the first didn't work, and was bad. Keep that in mind when buying. A $51 part equals $35 in store credit.

Website and Google both say closes at 5pm. There is a note on the door that says 4:30. All i needed to do is run on the yard ti check a car and I planned to come back and do what I needed later. No one answers the phone. I have never had bad service here and I have been a few times now. This really misses me odd as I don't have much time at home and try to plan my days out to the best. Fix your hours!!!!

*HOURS OF OPERATION BELOW* ALL CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ!!! ***** ***** ATTENTION: I work at this location: We have been trying to get the hours updated with no luck. We are SO sorry because we do feel bad when people get upset that they drive out here to find out the hours are different from what they thought. The hours we operate from are from corporate, not us. Keep in mind that even though this is one location.... We are two separate business. Radius Recycling (metals) AND Pick-N-Pull (parts). We are the only hybrid location in Georgia so it gets confusing. We close at the times we do because it takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes (some times way longer) to get customers out and do our count downs. So please don't get upset with us. On our actual website there is a notice that we close early for counts. I will personally see what I can do to get this changed. Sorry for anyone who has been inconvenienced by the times listed on Google. Their website says they close at five on Saturday, but they have a tiny piece of paper in the window of their front door saying they close at four. They need to update their hours so people don’t waste their time.

All right so apparently don't come within an hour of closing because they're going to close at 4:30 regardless what the website says, they don't care they shrugged me off three times now. The first one I let slide the second one I didn't even get to step foot out of my car before the guy at the counter comes out screaming and hollering saying hey we're closing right now. Which that time was at 4:00 wasn't even 4:30 and I said dude website says 5:00 and he says no we no longer have any people out in the yard we're not as busy as we should be and we're going to call it an early day and I say dude you do realize you're closing an hour early his response was well there's no people out in the yard and we're not busy so we're just going to call it an early day today thanks guys for the third 45 min. trip for y'all to send me back home because I decided ya want to close early well time to find a new junkyard I suppose.

A far step ahead of what this yard once was. Recommend going here for your needs long before Pull-a-Part, out any other overrated salvage yards. The dollar entry fee is kinda ridiculous, but still worth the part hunt you adventure out into.

Time on website is wrong. Left work early to make sure I was there before 5 to take a load of scrap. Got there at 4:20 to be told they are closed. Sign says 5pm the guy said that’s the pick n pull. He said the time is wrong on the website. So they are aware of the situation and do not care. Thanks for wasting my time and fuel.

Sign says open till 5 Monday through Saturday. On a Saturday at 4 o'clock, they were shutting the doors. Poor business need to change your sign and your website if you're not gonna be open till 5 o'clock like everything says.

Closed at least 2 days of their Big 4-day Labor Day Sale. Called on Sunday no answer and no recording; their website said they are closed on Sundays but their Summer hours have them as being open 7days a week. Drove almost 2 hours Monday to get there; gate closed nothing explaining they will be closed on the gate and nothing on their website, except their 4 day sale 9/1-9/4 sale. Also, the signage for the place sucks.

Told me they had my model car out there and i looked for quite awhile before calling from the parking lot asking what lot it was in again just to verify and finally gave up and went up there and told him that my car was not there and they acted like it was no big deal to them. They'll update it... Couldn't care less.

Since they sold over this past couple of months this place has gone down hill fast. Their inventory sucks and they have gone way up on their prices. They even took out the carts so now you have to use the wheelbarrow only, which would be fine but it makes moving bigger heavy part a massive pain. I think I'm gonna just start going to pull-a-part again, because whatever benefit there once was going to encore is gone. Just a little update. I decided to give this place another chance, but wow have their prices gone way up. You're better off going to pull-a-part or s & w. The only thing that ever made this place worth going to was its prices, however that's gone now.

I used to love this place been coming here sense it was still mud on the ground. The problem now is they sold out and things are alot different now prices are higher. Less older cars. The plus side is more organization universal pricing that you can view online. And a map seems like new staff to. Overall not as good as it used to be I don't come here near as much as I have some better local junkyards near me but I still stop by every so often to check it out.

I got there at 4:10 and they immediately told me to hurry up because they were about to close,when Google says they close at 5,I said Ford f150 2004 and this guy said ,what about it?,I said I need a dashboard part and he said well you better hurry up because we are closing,at the end I just got the driver side master window switch for $27 dollars!I'm only coming back for my money back because the part didn't work.

I usually dont leave negative reviews. But the first time i came here i had a great experience. The young lady at the front desk assisted me, and was very nice. The other one had a bad attitude and acted like i was stupid or something. I just called to ask how much a honda 4 cyl was and she said $200 - $250. And i was asking if thats the price for me to pull it and if that is if the engine is in the best condition she said no and hung up. I had a couple other parts to look up and she didnt even try to assist me. And from other reviews its not the first time this has happened. Someone need to solve this.

This used to be the only yard I used. I’d drive 20 miles past 2 others just to go to Jones now I’m headed 20 miles away from here! It’s really gone downhill since Jones sold out. The girls in the scale house are very unpleasant to say the least, it’s almost as if they scoff and roll their eyes when you roll up with a vehicle. I pulled up on the scale at 3:30 exactly at 3:48 I made a circle and left. 2 different employees walked up to the window and looked then walked away one of which was standing out front when I pulled in and made eye contact with me. Very poor management maybe they should pay the Jones to come work a while and train them. Definitely will not be back!

Out of all the different recycle centers in the Athens area, I have to say that this one is my favorite. The staff here are all very helpful and friendly. Overall, I get the best prices on all the different types of metals that I take and sell to them.

Great place for recycling metal for extra cash while cleaning up our business park’s grounds. I love the selection of vehicles to choose from for he parts we need for our company and persona vehicles. Lots of good picks. Definitely an abundance of American made cars to peruse. Check it out. The staff, well, you’ll find out.

Found the parts I needed. I asked for the price, which was confirmed by 2 office staff.. I removed the parts and when I got to checkout was told DOUBLE the price. I offered to split the difference. The woman I was dealing with was rude, unapologetic about quoting the wrong price and completely dismissive. Beware when buying here.

The "Junkyard". I had collected several old appliances & it was time to dispose. This is the place for this type of stuff. Car Battery, metal, aluminum anything recyclable is allowed here. I've always chosen this place for my disposal issues. Lots of machinery, so small children are prohibited. Good place.

This used to be a good place but now it's ran by crooks. Took a 2001 Lincoln town car in to scrap. I was going to take the wheels and tires off but they wouldn't let me. When I said I would just take it back they said I couldn't. Now all this took place before I signed any paperwork and before we agreed on the sale of my car.

I have visited this particular place for many years even though they have changed hands over the years. My last visit will be just that, my last visit. I showed up at 845 in the morning to get a very simple part, a headlamp switch, and the door was locked. Keep in mind the sign says they are open at 8 and it was not a holiday, and there was vehicles entering and exiting. I could see a man standing in the office, so I figure I would call and see if they were planning to open. To my disgust I watched and heard this man pick the phone up and hang it up. I promptly got in my truck and left feeling quite irritated.

Great place for older Auto parts. From a 1964 Baracuda to a 2010 Mercedes. Just walk the yard till you find what you need and take it off and pay. Easy-Breezy. Pricing is per item. Just carry it to the office and one of the super nice folks will tell you how much. Prices vary, but I've never felt like I paid to much. I have a great time just checking out the lot even if I don't find what I'm looking for. You never know what they will get in. Plenty of lawnmowers, aircompressors, tractor and even a lathe for parts.
