SUPER rude staff. Went in last week looking a couple of parts and when checking out, I didn’t fully hear the attendant due to his thick accent when he was stating the final price, and when I asked him to repeat what he had said, he lost it. Immediately went on this rant that people don’t listen anymore and that’s the problem with the younger generation. Dude, all I asked is that you repeat how much I owed so I could pay. Obviously had some deep seated issues but this guy definitely shouldn’t ever interact with a customer. Never spending my money here again, I’ll drive the extra hour to go to other businesses that don’t scream at their customers.

Had what I needed, got lots of help retrieving my item and getting it back to my car, got a great price.

Well I did like this place I got turned around at 4:15 they close at 4:30 just watch your time when you go over there I'm done with them

I used to love going here but now they will not get another penny from me. My husband is having trouble with his mobility and when we went to get some much needed parts he couldnt make it back up the hill . I went ahead of him and ask the fella in the main entrance if someone could go back for him because he couldnt walk it. Needless to say it had taken over a hour to get back to the entrance and he was in such pain. I told them they weren't going to get our business anymore and we left very disappointed

All the harsh complaints about this company are true. It doesn't matter the location. You may get lucky sometimes. You may get the short end of the stick. Most likely, you will get shorted. I'm not sure why I decided to buy for a fourth time, but out of 4 vehicles, only one was as described. You live, and you learn, and I have learned for good not to purchase from here. I have been going to auctions for about 15 years and Copart and IAA are by far the worst I've dealt with.

Physical address is a little hard to find and the owners or phone reps wasn't honest with me over the phone about an available "part" they claimed they had for my vehicle and would have it off & ready for pick. Thus, I ended up wasting my Saturday morning, gas & time visiting them to pick up the part they didn't have at all.

Waited in line and got skipped by friends of employees they walked into the door and the employee came out and let him unload at bay 4 instead of 5 it always takes a hour here anyways they really need to hire more help

I purchased a battery from advance auto parts in Springfield VT in September 2019. Shortly after moving to the area on September 3, 2021, my vehicle wouldn't start. My vehicle was towed to a repair shop who replaced the battery because it wouldn't hold a charge- it was totally drained. I took the dead advance auto parts battery to the closest Advance Auto Store, which was this one in Murphy NC, to see what could be done to honor the warranty. The representative at the store asked if I'd purchased the battery at his store and I told him the store in VT where I'd purchased it. He asked if I had my receipt and I explained that we had literally just moved and all my belongings and documents were on a moving van. He said he couldn't do ANYTHING without a receipt, offering this explanation: "our stores are not linked!"I'M SORRY- WHAT? Advance Auto Parts had revenue of $10 BILLION DOLLARS in 2020. If you take only 1% of revenue for IT (Information Technology) that's $100 MILLION PER YEAR in IT investment. It's simply incredulous - as in I don't believe that this multi-billion dollar enterprise has an IT system that doesn't allow one store to track purchase of an item purchased anywhere in their huge network of stores. I wasn't even offered any $$ for the core so I left the dead battery on the counter. The representative asked me: "What do you want me to do with this?"

We have been coming down for years from NY to purchase beds and other truck parts from Foss u pull it Lagrange and was saddened to find out when I arrived that dina the store manager was no longer working there. We use to go out of our way to come to this location because of the wonderful hospitality that was received upon arrival. Dina always treated us like family and went above and beyond to help us and answer any questions we had! She always had the yard very well organized and knew exactly what she had and where it was located. Dina is deeply missed and we will probably be taking our business elsewhere from now on.
