We are very pleased with the service provided by Mr. Sorrell. He responded quickly after I inquired about the cost of picking up a ful-size mattress with a topper and a box spring. The price was very reasonable and he picked up the items that very same day. We couldn’t be happier with the service he’s providing and we plan to use his service in the future. We highly recommend using this business for the removal of unwanted items! It was fast, affordable, and, overall, a pleasant experience.

Terrible company to work for or do business with! Not only do they intentionally skim weight off your loads (if they even weigh your material) but they do not even come close to paying customers within the agreed upon payment terms. (If they even pay you at all!)They are especially dishonest with larger customers that have full trailer loads of material, often stealing multiple tons per load. Purely a garbage company!

Bad customer service ⚠️ parts in poor paint condition ⚠️ I decided to buy a door and a rear bumper in the same color as my car to avoid painting it, but it turned out that the ones I bought here were in worse condition, with lots of scratches and dents. When you buy parts here you have no idea what condition they are in since not even they themselves know, personally I will not buy anything here again due to the poor customer service and the poor condition of the parts I bought. The excuse they give me is that they are used parts. To which I respond, if you inform me beforehand of the conditions of the parts, I will not buy them.

I can see why they only have one. Six stars. They are not even worth .6 stars . I called at 2 o’clock, I was told an ETA of 60 minutes. At 3:40 PM, still not here, I called them and was told “ he’s in Valley Stream and when he’s done he’ll be to you” Well it’s 4:50 PM now and the repair shop closes at 5 PM. So I don’t need them obviously and because of them I just wasted most of my day and got nothing done with the repair shop as of yet. I will never never never never call them again, and if anybody ask me to recommend a towing company ,I will definitely tell them not to use JYD

Scammers, overpriced, and completely unhelpful. They scam customers by saying that their prices listed on car-part's website are their "pre-covid" prices, and that the price of the parts in person are actually higher. It's been over three years since the pandemic began, so unless their inventory hasn't changed since then--which is highly doubtful, then they're just getting over on customers by lying about their pre and post covid prices in hopes that you'll just accept defeat and buy whatever it is anyways since you're already there. Never heard of any garbage like that in my life. Also, someone was supposed to help me find parts over the phone and never called me back--twice. Don't waste your time.

This is a fraud alert. I want to warn everyone that this company is a fraud. Hopefully you read all the reviews here before you conduct business with them. This goes for companies that are brokering parts to them, as well as persons who are seeking parts for their own vehicles. You will 100% be burned if you do business with them.

I bought a cluster odometer for my daughter’s vehicle and when I got it and my mechanic plugged it in and all the lights would come on as if it was in an accident. I went to return it less than 30 days with the receipt and they said they wouldn’t give me back my money that there’s nothing wrong with it, but yet they told me they sold it to me with just the engine light on it, but not tell me that when I purchase it. They said they would give me credit. This isn’t how you do Business. I have a video of a fight that happened in front of me in their office “trailer” while standing in line waiting to purchase it. Don’t recommend them this place to anyone can look for parts go to a budget scrap or junkyard. This place is shenanigans.” Scam”

They close at 12 on Saturday now even though the listing says 3. The gate was wide open and there were no signs anywhere indicating it was closed. I found one employee in the back who was still there, he barely spoke English but finally told me they were closed and walked away. It was clearly an unprofessional mess, I won’t be coming back.

My son blew the engine in his old and tired 2007 Sonata. The recycling center in Solvay would give me about $170 based on the car's weight if I payed to have someone tow it in, while also having the gas tanked drained and then punctured with a large hole. They gave me the referral to Coastal and I spoke with Mike yesterday around 11am. His guys ended up being too busy to grab the car the same day. This morning, at the agreed upon time of 10:30am on a Saturday of a holiday weekend, his guy was promptly on time at my mechanics place of business . He backed the flatbed up and before he winched the car up we exchanged the signed title and keys for $230 in cash. The gentleman also helped me yank off the old plates after I had forgotten to bring the proper type of screw driver. I never ended up meeting Mike, but the transaction went as well as I could have hoped for. The last car I scrapped was 30 years ago. Mike was pleasant to deal with on the phone, and my interaction lasted only about 10 minutes with his employee and was easy and pleasant. Coastal Recycling made this procedure easy for me. Nathan Caralla, the general manager here is rude and unprofessional. The front desk employees are nice and would actually do the job, but wait Nathan does not want it done. All the front desk employees were just sitting there doing nothing. They make carriers reschedule the pick up appointments, when in reality it’s already scheduled just because Nathan feels like that . He wants to send carriers back and he does it. possessing a good work ethic is about having integrity, determination, diligence, and a commitment to doing your best.( and this doesn’t apply to this location) Just an fyi, this location was not busy at all , only 2 customers.

Walter is very rude guy and he’s owner I called ask for the motor they have got the price done told him paying with CC he said 4% is charge on that I said ok he gave me total price now I drove 5 hours away to pick up engine and his behavior changed all off sudden he said u have to pay $128 state fee when I ask that y is this he got mad and started cursing and said so many things that u can’t ask to your customer. I will not recommend or give even one star
