Another great visit/purchase at Tom’s. I needed a 01 Grand Cherokee alloy rim( 5 spoke “Hollander” type). With the great assistance from Mike at the counter- he found my exact rim. He graded it a B, I graded it a A- with barely a slight curb rash area. GREAT PRICE!! It’s going out for a chemical dip and all of my other rims to my powder coating guy. Again, many thanks Mike, nice chatting with you about Grand Cherokee’s

Some people are complaining about it being a sealed bid rather than a conventional auction. It’s simple: bid what you think is a fair price for the item. If you win, great! If not, understand that someone else valued the item more highly and bid accordingly. This method allows CC to receive a fair price, rather than boats being sold for literal pennies on eBay.

Awesome 1st time experience. One guy directed everyone very well. Jumped on scale and dumped on my own. They took 2 old wall AC units and a bunch of old electric baseboard heaters. $13 for 300 pounds.

I called CT. Mustang concerning the availability of inner fender coverings for my 1988 Mustang GT, Notchback. I spoke with Elizabeth who was very pleasant on the telephone and mentioned they had the passenger and driver covering. When I arrived a lady was sitting behind the counter who was later learned to be Elizabeth. I mentioned the items that were needed and she stated that they were ready outside for me to inspect them before purchase. Upon walking outside, I was greeted by a worker who showed me the minor flaws in covers. I told the young man thank you and walked inside. I purchased the items and asked Elizabeth a question about another item. She immediately search her computer and confirmed she had the item, however, I would have to be certain of the model number. CT. Mustang is superior in customer service and would recommend anyone looking for used parts for their late model Mustang to give them a call.

I was recommended here for repairs on my car from an accident. When I picked my car up it looked brand new you could never guess my front end was smashed. This is by far the best experience for me with vehicle service. The staff was also professional and attentive. I recommend this place to the fullest. Thank you guys for the excellent service!!!

I called for the second time on 12/28/2024 to resolve some miscommunication with a part I had ordered. The older-sounding man that was speaking to me through the phone took my whole situation as a joke and was giving me this sarcastic attitude without being useful one bit. If it wasn’t for Kurtis/Curtis today 12/30 I wouldn’t of had my solution!

Extremely poor customer service! Little guy behind the counter was short in height and answers. And when asked about a military discount, his response was, "I already gave you the price." Instead of answering the question, he just rude. I won't go back nor will I ever refer anyone to go there.

This company is the best! If I could give 10 stars I would! I sold them my Honda after I crashed and when a lousy tow company wanted to screw me over $500 for storage fees Waterbury Auto Salvage gave me extra cash so I could at least had something in my pocket after paying those storage fees from the other company. If you sell you car to anyone for parts please chose Waterbury!!! The person that answers the phone gets straight to the point and that’s what I loved most about this company! Very satisfied with them 😊

Good service. Great to be able to get a repair with used parts which are much cheaper. They used to sell nice cars but now they only do repairs and sell parts. Very nice guys.

I needed a throttle body that is getting hard to find, but I saw online that they had one. I called and Colton was very friendly, answered all my questions, and he sent me pictures of the throttle body. I verified it's the one I need, so I went ahead and ordered it and had them ship it to me in Michigan.... A couple days later, it showed up. The box was undamaged, the throttle body was packaged up nice and safely, and it's exactly what I need! Thanks for being awesome Colton, and thanks team for doing a great job!

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the substandard conditions and service I encountered at [Junkyard Name] during my recent visit on [Date of Visit]. As a customer who has relied on various junkyards over the years for parts and materials, I was taken aback by the numerous issues that plagued my experience at your facility. This letter outlines the specific problems I encountered, which I believe merit your immediate attention and rectification. First and foremost, the state of the junkyard was deplorable. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an overwhelming stench of decaying materials and refuse. It was evident that there had been a significant lapse in waste management practices. Piles of garbage were strewn about the premises, attracting pests and creating an unsanitary environment. This not only posed health risks to visitors but also reflected poorly on the management’s commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly facility. Additionally, I found the layout of the junkyard to be extremely disorganized. Vehicles and parts were scattered haphazardly with no apparent system in place for easy navigation. The lack of clear signage or a logical arrangement made it incredibly difficult to locate specific parts. I spent an excessive amount of time wandering through the yard, often backtracking and retracing my steps due to the confusing layout. Furthermore, the condition of the parts available for sale was abysmal. Many parts were rusted beyond use or irreparably damaged. It was clear that there was little to no effort made to properly categorize or assess the quality of the parts on offer. As a customer, I expect a certain level of quality assurance, especially when purchasing used components. Unfortunately, this was sorely lacking at your establishment. Compounding these issues was the unprofessional behavior of the staff. The employees I interacted with were indifferent at best and outright rude at worst. My inquiries regarding the availability and location of specific parts were met with curt responses and dismissive attitudes. When I requested assistance in locating a particular item, I was told to “look for it yourself” without any further guidance or support. Moreover, the prices quoted for the parts were exorbitant given their poor condition. I found the pricing structure to be inconsistent and unreasonably high compared to other junkyards in the area. It seemed as though there was no standardized pricing, and customers were at the mercy of arbitrary quotes provided by staff. This lack of transparency and fairness in pricing is unacceptable and deeply concerning. The payment process itself was fraught with issues. The card machine was malfunctioning, and there were no alternative payment methods readily available. As a result, I had to leave the premises to withdraw cash, which was an inconvenience and further compounded my frustration. In today’s age, reliable and multiple payment options are a basic expectation that was evidently not met. In addition to these logistical and service-related concerns, I was alarmed by the safety hazards present at the junkyard. Sharp metal objects, broken glass, and other dangerous materials were scattered openly on the ground. There were no visible safety protocols or measures in place to protect customers from potential harm. This lack of concern for customer safety is inexcusable and poses a serious risk of injury. The office area, where customers go to finalize transactions, was in a state of disarray as well. It was cluttered with paperwork, parts, and miscellaneous items, making it difficult to conduct business efficiently. The chaotic state of the office only served to reinforce the overall impression of mismanagement and neglect. I would also like to address the issue of environmental compliance. It appeared that there were no proper disposal systems for hazardous materials such as oil, batteries, and other automotive fluids. This raises serious environmental concerns.

I ordered a part and for 2 weeks they continued to tell me it will be in soon. I called again yesterday and they said they would call when it came in. I called again this morning and they told me it came in yesterday and they called me. They absolutely did not call. Especially when they said they LVM at 11am. I called after 12 that day. I have no incoming calls or messages from them. Old saying goes.... you get what you pay for. Go anywhere else unless you are desperate then you gotta do what you must. Place is gross from start to finish. - Cari

If you think you have ever had bad customer service think again. These people redefine the concept of rudeness. You can ask yourself when was the last time you called a business and got hung up because "they were busy" and when you went to their location and, asked to get help picking up a part you got cursed out and verbally thrown out instead? I only give them one star because there's no option to give them less. This place is a joke and shouldn't be in business. I don't want anyone to think that I am exaggerating. In fact I am putting it mildly and you would save yourself this experience if you stay away from them.
