I would definitely recommend NOT going to advance auto parts in Lake Zurich. I went there, guessing I needed a new battery. They said I did. First he put in a battery, that wasn't even charged. Then put another battery in, and said there was something else wrong with my car, to go to Firestone in Lake Zurich. ⭐ Absolutely Terrible – Avoid at All Costs! I rarely leave reviews, but this auto parts store absolutely earned this one. I ordered specific parts for my vehicle — provided the exact make, model, and VIN. What did they send me? Completely wrong parts that don’t even remotely fit. When I contacted customer service expecting a simple fix, they blamed me for their mistake. Yes, you read that right — their error, but somehow my fault?

Great people! Items as described and they stopped what they were doing to make sure I got the right parts. Worth the 2.5 hour drive. Highly recommend!

Went there to get a bumper for a car that as already scuffed and had a hole on it said the price was 99$ thwybahd charged me the 90 warranty on it without telling me. Went back inside as soon as I got to my car to tell them I didn't want it. They said I had to get a refund and get a different bumper that I couldn't just get the warranty removed off of it, that I was supposed to tell them at the register and they couldn't just remove the warranty But they claim it was optional. I suggested everyone coming her to check there receipt for them trying to charge you for stuff you don't want there scamming people.

I went here to get rims for my Kia spectra and the gentleman who assisted me right before they closed was a big help! The prices are reasonable and can't be beat!. This will be my go to place for any future parts my vehicle may need! I thank you all so much for being a big help!!!!

I just went there today because my friend told me he seen a door up there for my truck in perfect shape. I drove up Sunday and they was closed. It says closed Sundays on the building. Okay. Well now I am up here and they tell me no door we closed. I look behind me on the building office and this nice red open sign was just blinking away. Needless to say we exchanged words and I definitely would not recommend anyone to go there. Attitude sucks and just straight lied to my face. Too bad I couldn't no star review them.

Just call in advance tell them what you mean and they will get it for you most of the time free place to go for used parts the guys that work there really nice prices are very reasonable

Buyer Beware!! First issue came about when the delivery driver broke the front differential by carrying it in by the 4wd actuator. When I tried to resolve the issue and have a new one shipped out the whole transaction took a dive. The sales person who answered couldn’t help because he didn’t sell it to me. Waited three hours for Manny to return my call, nothing. Called back again. Manny was never given my message. He found a replacement and was ready to process when I asked about payment. He informed me I am on a no check list. Transferred to accounting where she informed me I had several NSF transactions. Say what?! I say when and what were the amounts? She couldn’t provide that information. After some heated back and forth it was determined she was wrong! Definitely not calling this place again! 👎🏻👎🏻 And they can keep the junk part!

Very quick and responsive. I called to inquire on a Thursday and was able to callback on the following Saturday to have my vehicle picked up. The initial offered price for my 17 year old vehicle was honored and paid in full to me. Highly recommend based on my experience!
