I just called about a part I repeated what I needed 3 times I told him I needed a wipe motor and linkage and wiper arms and all he could talk about my engine motor very rude. I think he might have been on some crack today or something.

No exhaust cutting allowed. No reciprocating saws allowed. No angle grinders allowed. No torches allowed They claim to not do anything to help you get an exhaust in any shape or form. One day from what I seen they were cutting an exhaust in the yard for a white guy. That's exactly why I came back to get an exhaust from them today. I'm sure I was told NO because I'm black.

I would definitely recommend NOT going to advance auto parts in Lake Zurich. I went there, guessing I needed a new battery. They said I did. First he put in a battery, that wasn't even charged. Then put another battery in, and said there was something else wrong with my car, to go to Firestone in Lake Zurich. I immediately went there, and they called me the following morning to tell me Advamce had sold me a battery, with a dead cell. How couldn't they know t

Drove today close to an hour for a car that was posted last night 11/05 2024. I'm the fourth one to get into the lot when I get to the car the A-spec packages gone I spoke to the manager and he claims that maybe somebody last night jumped into the lot and stole that. The least they could have done is updated the pictures and not waste people's gas .last time I'll be going to that place

Go here if you love waiting over 30 minutes to talk to someone when you're the only customer there. I had a good experience here the first time I went, so I thought I'd try them again. I scrapped a vehicle here when they first opened and was satisfied. They were friendly. Would have given them one star for today's experience, if I hadn't had a good experience there the first time. I went today and waited over 30 minutes for them to tell me they aren't buying any aluminum, weren't interested in the iron/steel, after I mentioned it and showed them, and told me they'd have to make a call to a copper scrap buyer and see if they wanted what I had. It seemed like a whole ordeal, with more waiting, after I already waited 30 minutes. The woman seemed uninterested, so I left unsatisfied and won't be back. There are quite a few other scrap yards in the area. I will say, she was nice, but left me wondering what they are even buying at this time. Just vehicles and batteries?

They rarely answer the phone.. How do you expect to keep customers if you can't even do something as simple as answering the phone for YOUR customers? I don't like leaving bad reviews but I think I should warn others so they don't waste their time, there are other places to go to where they do value their customers.

I went here to get rims for my Kia spectra and the gentleman who assisted me right before they closed was a big help! The prices are reasonable and can't be beat!. This will be my go to place for any future parts my vehicle may need! I thank you all so much for being a big help!!!!

I just went there today because my friend told me he seen a door up there for my truck in perfect shape. I drove up Sunday and they was closed. It says closed Sundays on the building. Okay. Well now I am up here and they tell me no door we closed. I look behind me on the building office and this nice red open sign was just blinking away. Needless to say we exchanged words and I definitely would not recommend anyone to go there. Attitude sucks and just straight lied to my face. Too bad I couldn't no star review them.

Just call in advance tell them what you mean and they will get it for you most of the time free place to go for used parts the guys that work there really nice prices are very reasonable

Very helpful and friendly staff. Like most junk yards, their website and actual inventory out in the yard don’t quite match up. However, they were very accommodating in allowing me to go check if they had the part I needed. They did and it was ready to be picked up when promised. Prices are competitive too. Side note, I was shocked to see that this place is right next door to the old Joliet prison which apparently is some kind of tourist attraction. Go figure!

Very quick and responsive. I called to inquire on a Thursday and was able to callback on the following Saturday to have my vehicle picked up. The initial offered price for my 17 year old vehicle was honored and paid in full to me. Highly recommend based on my experience!
