Drove today close to an hour for a car that was posted last night 11/05 2024. I'm the fourth one to get into the lot when I get to the car the A-spec packages gone I spoke to the manager and he claims that maybe somebody last night jumped into the lot and stole that. The least they could have done is updated the pictures and not waste people's gas .last time I'll be going to that place

The car I needed was located exactly where the inventory said it would be, and unlike some other yards I've visited, the cars are NOT stacked, they're all accessible. The parts I needed were exactly as the web photo showed, and the prices were reasonable. I was asked if I wanted a part warranty BEFORE paying, I was not automatically charged. I'll be back.

I had a terrible experience with LKQ. They promised to pick up my car between 10-11 AM and assured me they would call beforehand. None of that happened. I even called to confirm, but when I did, they were dismissive and basically told me to stop whining and wait longer. I’m sorry, but I have a schedule to keep and can’t just sit around all day. This was super unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. I won’t be dealing with them again.

Cashiers are robbing people. The cashier looked up the part i bought before paying for it. Compared the price it was $50 online brand new he was charging me $45 for a used part. I'm taking my chances if it would work. Dude, really probably that guy was pocketing money.

The worst junk yard I have ever seen so far. The staff is not polite, the return process is too long (took me 1,5 hours) and the place is full of junk on your way

Very horrible experience I tried calling to look for a part It doesn’t allow for me to speak to anybody. It tells me to go into the website. I went into the website and I cannot find any information on the parts that I need horrible I called and dialed option number three to speak to someone they told me I have to go to the location to see if they have the part I’m looking for that is 10 miles away from me and the website is just as bad I do not want to drive ten miles to find out they do not have my part I hope this company loses business and closes down

I went looking for a replacement door. Found a piece of mirror glass that I also needed. Guy at the front says he can’t sell it to me. Says I have to purchase the whole assembly for $50. Was gonna come back for that door. Maybe not, might be required to buy the whole frame with it.

For all their clean corporate branding and the amount of cash they clearly rake in, this place feels like a poorly run mom n pop operation, and a greasy, scammy one at that. No carts with a parking lot less than 1/4 full. The property is a narrow straight line, so hope the car you're looking for happens to be near the front, or you'll walk a half mile back to your car in the heat, balancing your tools and dragging your parts. At exit no soap to wash, no paper towels to dry. Long lines both ways. Muddy. Expensive and they'll absolutely refuse to refund their automatically added "guarantee" immediately after the sale. "My extra money now you didn't do it in the right order" is their attitude. Nice being the only game in town I guess. Go to any Pull-a-Part brand junkyard if you get a chance and see how to do it right: Cheaper parts, cheaper entry, available carts, multiple checkouts, cleaning at exit, heavy gravel yard, no forced guarantee scam. And best, leaving doesn't feel like you just got scammed by a greasy profit-first junkhole.

I purchased a turning signal marker two weeks ago. It turned out the marker was the wrong year and it didn’t fit my vehicle. I returned to get a refund and was told by the employee that the product did not have the correct color indicator they usual place on items. I informed the employee I was charged two weeks ago for the product and was also charged a 90 day guarantee , even though I was not asked to be charged a 90 day guarantee. I again informed the employee I purchased the product at there junk yard two weeks ago and I showed him the receipt. The employee not only did not give me a refund with my receipt but didn’t even honor the 90 day guarantee, that I was charged. I will never purchase anything from their location ever again. If you shop here please make sure they mark the correct color indicator specified for that month , also be aware they will not inform they will charge you a 90 guarantee without your knowledge. I wouldn’t even give this place one star. Shame on them for nickel and dining and not honoring a receipt nor their guarantee policy.

LQK promised to come tow my car any time between 12:30pm and 2pm. Despite that, nobody comes and this made me go beyond the hours I requested off work. Moreover, nobody reached out to me about any updates. I would suggest everyone to use your roadside assistance towing service and get the car to their lot that way. Very unprofessional

they make you pay to see even if they know they don't have what you want

I want to share my horrible experience with this junkyard. When I picked my parts and get ready for payment I asked for prices for each item and mentioned I forgot my glasses then one racist employee told me is on the screen.I repeated I forgot my glasses I'd she can Read it for me. Her response was : I"t's your responsibility to have your glasses ". I answered I'm sorry I forgot them at home.. She get mad and started be rude even more.I never expected that mad and helpless employee ever. What's more unbelievable was? Even her "boss " said yes it's mine responsibility! What a horrible non behave employee work in this facility! Never ever again!!!

Bunch of thieves… they will charge you Cores for parts with no cores. They will charge you for for an Extended warranty without your approval… they won’t even mention it. Bought two wheel’s and some floor mats and I was charged over $100 of “fees”. They are rude and they will curse at you. And will not let you return what you bought.

Tried this place out for the first time today. MOST of what you will read in the comments is accurate. The inventory is kept MOSTLY up to date, although there were a few things we were looking for that were gone by the time we actually arrived. Overall, the website was accurate enough to find what I needed. Cars were parked in the lots identified online. Very cool place to go see. Customer service number is non-existent, corporate line just hangs up on you when you try to dial for pricing. Overall I would go back for sure, just temper expectations and know what you are looking for, and this place will be a great resource for you.

Please fix and update your website and your customer service. The service is 50/50. Just tells me that they do not have phones there and I have to go in person. How am I to get a visual on a vehicle or confirm if a part is there. If I plan to commute 2-3hrs for a part and it’s not there, it’s more then just a a waste of my time and money. Then the pricing is hilarious. It’s okay though. It’s life. I just wish the business had better customer service and was more organized.

Does anyone know how much a used battery is from them 2018 Chevy Malibu lt
- BBohdan Vasylyshyn
I wanted to buy a part with out warranty and I sales associate declined to sell me without. In your policy says it is optional, I can ask to remove worry free 90 days warranty at checkout. I wasted my time removing that part and walk away without.
- mmartiez caffey
I went up there on a school trip because I go to school for auto mechanics I got a starter. The guy told me I could return it within 30 days or if I bring the old one back they’ll give me $11 the guy did not give me a receipt. All he did was make this yellow mark on the side of it, and they wouldn’t let me return it without a receipt. My teacher told me they would take a card transaction approve. It still wouldn’t work.
- JJay Thomas
They’re ok, bring cash. Sometimes the card machine doesn’t work and they look at you like🗿.They are always there when you need them. however, they should stop using the warranty policy on parts that don’t need it. Also tell the customers that the stupid policy is added on before just adding it without their consent.

I purchased a battery at the north Ave location paid the price for the "life time warranty"and when I went back to utilize said "warranty" I was told that there policy has chaged and there warranty was 90 days. How does any company charge you for a "lifetime warranty " but just decides to revoke this warrantyfor no apparent reason then says call rhe 1800 number were you don't get to talk to an actual person. This is a very deceptive business practice.i would not recommend any person to deal with this place
- RReid Linksvayer
Scummy extra charge 90 day warranty on everything you have to opt out of. Sky high prices. Cheaper to shop online vs get muddy here for the same part. LKQ is the absolute worst of these kind of places. Cars are not sorted by brand like other places, so if you need to check several Chevys for example you have to walk all over instead of just having them in one area.
- WWisconsin Rider
If your looking for a place to pull your own parts at a extremely discounted price this is the place for you
- ААлександр Сикула
Very expensive prices for used auto parts. There is no point in wasting your time. Better buy new parts. A new shock absorber for a 2006 Toyota Camry costs $65-80 each. They sell used for $47. This is without a guarantee and the ability to return the spare part. If you want a warranty, you will have to pay $57 for this shock absorber. They will never help you. All they care about is your money. If you are going to buy parts from them, be 100% sure that they will fit you, or pay for a guarantee. I do not recommend this company!
- ooctavio albarran
Rude employees. Over-price parts. They are selling parts way more expensive than Amazon or other places. Plus you have to spend hours looking for the parts.
- AA A
Don’t waste your time poorly run you most likely won’t find the part you are looking for . You are only going to loose the admission money you pay 3$ and walk out empty . Most cars good parts they take out before you get there and they sell them on eBay . Look for their account on eBay . Run and run as far away as you can from this place and find somewhere else to go .
- RRamon Maldonado
Did not find what I was looking for but they had a lot of other Makes and models of car
- tthe ache sick_life
Bad attitude of the staff, very high prices I recommend not going, all their locations are the same, really bad service 👎🏼
- JJimenez Castellanos
They are uneducated, racist people. And the parts are very expensive, they are garbage.
