Speedway Salvage JunkYard Reviews

No exhaust cutting allowed. No reciprocating saws allowed. No angle grinders allowed. No torches allowed They claim to not do anything to help you get an exhaust in any shape or form. One day from what I seen they were cutting an exhaust in the yard for a white guy. That's exactly why I came back to get an exhaust from them today. I'm sure I was told NO because I'm black.

Good place to find what you're looking for. The only drawback is that there is no inventory lookup online, and the ground is not paved. Other than that, good prices and very large selection.

$1 Entry per person. Plenty of parking. Good choices, nice staff, Wheel barrows to haul your stuff. Big-rock gravel, so wear some strong shoes.

When I come to town I almost always try to stop in as I drive older cars and am always needing something and I enjoy walking around and seeing the huge inventory. You never know what you'll see. If you're thrifty like me the prices are reasonable.

We fixed two problems at a fraction of the cost that a shop had estimated just for them to supply a part and fix one problem. This place saved me $300! It was just $5 for the main air hose! Also, thanks for the jump guys, I was so glad to discover you sold batteries at a reasonable price too! $35. Now my car is running so much better!

I went there to a part for a truck I was working on....I, got the part....And it was at very good price...The truck is fixed and I am rolling again...Again I went there and obtained what I went there to get..at a very reasonably price..It's self service there or You can pay ti to have a part taken off..and a large selection of cars and trucks...Right down the street from Speedway World Race Track..

It's a well organized salvage yard, which makes what you're looking for a lot easier.

On Father's Day 100 degrees my husband and I went out there to look for a few parts for my daughters car. We found what we where looking for. But my little pet pee is we had to get checked in an of course out. I feel that we where being rushed to be checked out that my husband had to pull most of his tools out, and forgot his $225 drill on the counter. I know it's our responsibility to keep our tools together. And when I called it seem like they did know us. Go figure

Very large selection. If you are looking for something obscure, this is the place to go! This yard has been here a really long time and the people that work there are friendly and have good attitudes. A few things stop this from getting a higher rating. The biggest being the way they price things. Whoever is working at the counter sets the prices, there is no set price list or anything like that. Prices for the same part can vary, although I will say they are cheaper than pickapart. This stops me from loading up my wheelbarrow with things I want but don't need. To test my theory of various prices, I first asked for a price sheet. They don't have those. I asked how much for a grill off of an Opel. He said it could be 10, 15, or even more (still good prices.) This week I spent $20+tax there for a side mirror. I would've stayed home since they are $22 new, shipped to my house. I actually bought a car there last year that I was told had a clear title. Although the title looked good at a glance when it was handed to me, it was signed in the wrong spot. I called and even went back the next day, left messages and was ducked and dodged. Never heard a word back and it took months for me to straighten it out. I would've had an $1800 brick if I didn't luck out tracking down the previous owner from 7 years ago. Side note: they RARELY sell whole cars, this was an anomaly. Another thing that affects the rating is the terrain. Although they don't have Boulder like rock where you sorian your ankle like 111 does, they have a lot of mud, weeds, and the ground has huge puddles all over the place. This is a chigger and mosquito's heaven, and you will get torn up by them in the middle of the day. If you need to wash up before going home, you are going to have to bring your own soap and water. There is no running water or sink. I still like the place and will continue to go (with deep woods off and instant soap n water.) 10 years ago this was THE place to go to. Slight maintenance and modernization could bring this back to #1

Really awesome place tons of cars truck suv classics to new cars get what ya need here

Prices are good, people are kind. Only thing is, many parts are already pulled off the cars as the yard itself sells on eBay. All in all, cool spot.
- BBecky Boo
They was very helpful with my friend when he needed it.

Speedway Salvage is a large yard, so there is volume that smaller yards can't have. For us, we were looking for BMW parts, and spent hours pulling many parts from several cars. BTW, that white front bumper in the pic is no longer there.
- CCurt Balding
A big selection especially if you're looking for older vehicles
- JJackson Obel
Speedway it's one of the best. It's huge, with a ridiculous amount of cars. they have multiple s of the cars you wan (which are hard to come buy). Staff are fair, lanes are maintained, and the selection is great. It a normal junk yard with no weird BS
- JJeff Wagahoff
Knowledgeable employees very professional. Especially Jethro, goes above and beyond for customer satisfaction. Even contacts you later to make sure everything is going well. Very helpful in all aspects . Employees are courteous and don't mind helping you in every way .

Love them they did awesome job with price I took water pump out change charge me $20 worse than Washington park junkyard $51 and warranty my truck ran perfectly!!!! Pin 📌 this Big alot and it was long walk lol work out
- EElvis Cargill
Staff generally cordial and friendly unless they just don't like you maybe thinking that you're hiding parts in your pockets or whatever. But mostly fair pricing , safe disassembly staging of models They'll loan you a tool if they have it. They stand by their parts refund where warranted. I thought that the $2.00 admission caught me by surprise as opposed to the former $1.00 but really for a safe disassembly staging area it's well worth it

It was amazing 😍 love the old cars. They was very nice and let us compare are parts at the gate! I also was aloud to take things I found that was not parts!! When your honest they are great to you!!
- JJosh Seago
Reasonable prices! Got in free on Sunday! Had questions and the staff pointed me in the right direction!
- EEric Walker
Helpful staff. Large yard. 2 dollar entrance. Could be more organized for the customer. Some yards have row and lit numbers for vehicles matching your search. Here it is organized by make and model but I spent more time trying to find the vehicle I needed than removing the part and checking out
- MMike Stockdale
Well organized layout of vehicles. Was able to find all parts needed quickly. They even offer a full service where they will pull parts for you for a small fee and you can pick up next day. Very convenient if you don't have time or all tools you need. Great pricing on whole part assembly. I'm very pleased and will definitely keep coming back.
- DDaniel Keller
Been going there for years. Always find what I need. Sometimes it's not easy, but eventually I find what I need. Usually the first trip.

I had a week of going from junkyard to junkyard looking for parts for my 2011 Mitsubishi Galant, l wish l would have started here. Excellent selection nice staff and no hassle. And on our way in there was an argument that just about led to a throw down, so we had free entertainment on top of it 🤭😂😇 I will NEVER go to a different junkyard. Trust me, START HERE, save your time. Have a great day

Great prices and selection. I wish cars were rotated more often. People working are helpful and nice.

I travel across the US every month so I’ve been to a tonne of pick a part’s and this would by far have to be the best one I’ve been to so far. Staff are friendly and prices are great. I’ve been here many times now and every time I come i always end up leaving with a tonne of parts at a great price. Don’t know how this place isn’t more packed. Try going to a pick a part in California and normally all the popular vehicles are cleaned out completely. Will be coming back here many more time to come. Edit June 2018. The last couple of times I’ve been there the guys haven’t been as friendly as they used to be. Plus seems to be that they don’t get many Chevy trucks in. A while ago it seemed every time o went there they had new selection. The last few times as been the same stuff just more stripped out

Purchased an 2005 jeep liberty engine which was supposed to have only 151k miles but after a couple weeks it started knocking. I contacted them for a warranty and they said they would look for a engine. After contacting them again they said they would not give me a warranty. Now they just shut the phone in my face. I guess money to them is more important then honesty. Buy at your own risk. Responding to Owner: I ordered this engine and picked it up, so i never heard it running and if it did have 151k miles on it, why is it knocking now?? You never provided me with any statement of warranty but knew it had at least 30 days. I called you about this issue and you said you would look for another motor and you never called me back. After checking with you again, you changed your tune and said you would not warranty it. REALLY i spent over $1000 for a hunk of metal??? You should bend over backwards to fix this issue not hang up the phone in my face bc your money hungry!!
