This salvage yard isn't just pick your own parts, they also have a huge inventory of parts already pulled in their warehouse and have some new inventory as well. Just came to pick up a wheel for my 2014 Toyota Corolla and Jackson Auto saved me over $120 compared to prices quoted to me from my dealership & at least $25-45 when compared many other tire shops.I also came here 5yrs ago to replace wheel covers that were stolen off my vehicle while I was at work. Saved me a good deal of money back then as well.Customer service was solid. Professional & polite. The owner's wife was at the front desk and the owner fulfilled my order request himself in person.I drive out here from Chapel Hill and when K call ahead to make sure they have the part I need, it's always been worth the trip while running other errands that take me out to Raleigh. I don't quite understand the low ratings/reviews, but I can only speak to my experiences here which have always been great. Thanks for making sure my ride is road-worthy.

Garris is a fair guy. He has a lot of inventory. It's a hit and miss so call before you go. Even then he may have the car but it may be stripped down. But, if he has your part, he'll give you a good deal.

Few places like that left..so glad I found it. Had my part for a good price...took it to the mechanic had it installed...Loved the experience...VERY PLEASED that they had the part!! New customer here!!

Fantastic shop. Seems like a Ma&Pa. Brett and Patrick, especially (I'm sure everybody is great, these are the two I dealt with). Very friendly and they will take care of you. Brought in an old marine starter battery. Completely dead. They charged it up to give me the reading. Took care of me through and through.

$3 to get. They take cash or card. It is pretty organized if you look up the vehicle you need online beforehand. The row is numbered on the first car. Grab your tools and get whatever you need. Seems like for mechanical parts you might get a unfair price. Like the guys in front me get charge $50 for an old brake booster, thing might not even work. Exterior parts and trims is where you probably get the best options

If you need parts for your vehicle, this is a great place to check out! You have to do the work to get your parts, they are affordable. His place is huge! It's an adventure, you never know what vehicles you'll see on the way to the one you are there to pick part from. Don't forget to bring your tools.

Drove down there to pick up a truck frame. Its owned by a father & son and they are both really great people. Very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend checking out their yard. Have some good stuff out there.

I ordered a part and received the wrong one....however, when I called to get the issue corrected, the owner Of Norman's quickly and apologetically made it right and with no additional shipping fees. Great group of guys, decent selection of volvos, and they are grouped together up front instead of buried in the back like most other yards.

My boss does business with this company regularly as they are in the closest vicinity to our shop. We dismantle cars from time to time and routinely have core engine blocks to recycle. We brought them a camaro to crush and I had mistakenly left a very expensive tool inside. When I arrived, I was greeted by a older white man with gray hair. I explained my case and he then proceeded to ask me if a Milwuakee was a beer. I explained further, and parked exactly where he told me to. I was told that I could look for it, so I did. The younger gentlemen in the yard hailed me back off the scrap pile and offered to retrieve the car for me so I could look through it. Very kind of them. As I'm walking to the vehicle to search, fella from the weigh station that greeted me gives me a dog whistle and starts rambling on about how my presence is a liability. That much is obvious, but I was given the green light to look. It's not my fault simple English wasn't comprehended. He then, due to his on inability to grasp the conversation or the simple things I was saying, tried to tell me that my tool was gone and that they didn't have it in an attempt to shoo me off the property. He then asked me if anyone was helping me, after I had explained to him somebody was kind enough to set the car in a safe area for me to search, and that I WILL be searching it. Lo, and behold, it was sitting in the trunk. Thank you to the kind and helpful younger fellas that actually helped and a fine middle finger to the cranky old dude who just wanted me gone.

Terrible service. Gotta haggle for a decent price. Get cussed out by “mechanic”. Avoid at all cost! Go to Garris over in Ayden.

After looking for parts for my classic, S & R saved the day. For three weeks I was calling from state to state with no luck. Then one dealer in Virginia asked me to contact S&R. I was pleasantly surprised that they had my specific part. It was a very busy day there as I can imagine, yet they took the time to find my part & send photos. After confirming my part, I made arrangements to ship to my state. My payment was swiftly sent & their response was as swift! Packaging was fantastic and parts were received in two days. I can only say that the customer service and attention to detail was above & beyond superb!! I'm sure many businesses could learn more from S & R what it means to satisfy their customers. PS: Price for part was also very fair. I wish them well always, and would certainly deal with them again (If I had too) Best wishes from Pennsylvania, you made the holiday season better.
