Easy no hassle friendly staff and great place for auto parts

I was asking for a drivers side mirror and I ask the clerk to come look at my vehicle. He said he didn't want to come outside in the sun. I ask him if I could see the mirror before I paid and he told me no. I called earlier to let him know when I would be there thinking that the mirror would be waiting for me. After I paid he said he would bring it to my car and for me to wait in my car but I didn't. I waited by my car and as I waited the guy came outside into the junk yard but he kept looking back as if I was going back inside to rob the place. Eventually he came from the back where the cars were and he was bringing the mirror off of a suv like mines. But he said he didn't want to be in the sun. But he said if it doesn't fit bring it back. WOW

Doc has been around a long time .. tons of junked cars, trucks, campers, etc . If you want something he tells you the price and that’s it .. no more discussion! ..he has some interesting stuff you might have to search a bit for ..

Got a engine from them and people was very nice and engine was bad so I called and they said no problem we have one that we will check for you,we’ll they said 2 weeks later that it was bad and they had one coming in and to call back and they would check it soon as it came in.well they said it was in and they were checking the starter for issue.well then after about a week and half they said it was no good so they would tell the boss to get my refund.well in beginning they said if we can’t get you one we would give money back .Well now that time has come and they say they won’t refund because it’s been too long.Well we were both working together to work this out so no refund will be needed .Well I would not recommend them to anyone as they won’t take care of you for selling you junk that is no good and also their dollar store receipts that keeps them from showing what money they take in .maybe state of Virginia needs to be aware of this also which I plan to do

Had the parts I needed at a price I could afford. Staff was knowledgeable about what I consider a pretty obscure issue on electric power steering.

Call this company yesterday they gave me a quote for a vehicle I was junking said they would be here to pick up the vehicle never showed up refused to answer my calls. I left them a voicemail saying hey, could you get back to me whenever you hear this never responded, still refused to answer my calls, if I could give this company a zero star rating, I would completely disrespectful, horrible way to run a business. I wouldn’t recommend using this business, unless you want your time wasted.

This place is not only disgusting, the people there ( mostly customers and 1employee) were filthy mouthed and rude! 😡 Why the city of Colonial Heights continues to allow this place to be so filthy and cluttered beyond belief is anyone's guess.

I'm a Engineer student at JMU and my team and I are working on a recycling project and Dave helped us out a lot in getting more info about recycling. Very nice guy!

Needed a wheel bearing and the staff was great. Helped get the right part and the price was right.

I've been here a couple times to get parts. The last time I went Teddy took care of me. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and has ample things on his plate at once but was still able to get me exactly what I needed. I let him know that if he ever needed a job to look me up.As far as these other people on here complaining about bad service because of no refunds. Its posted on the wall when you go to pick up, its explained to you ( by Teddy) over the phone before you get there, and its in the email that is sent to you before they pull the part! There is no way possible you didn't know about the no cash refund. Oh, and in case you didn't realize, it's a salvage yard! If you want the comfort of money back, pressure tested, brand new in box, and a one year warranty.... Go buy new! Duh. If you want great customer service, reasonable prices, 30 day warranty, and an exchange/store credit then stop by and see Teddy.

Good. I went to Bower's the day before and got told my steel smoker was made of tin so I got ripped off at Bowser and went to A&B the next day. They were very professional and the yard was clean enough to drive my car on without worrying about getting a flat tire!I'll be going back to a&b from now on and would suggest everyone else does the same

I’m giving one start because it wasn’t giving me the “none starts” Please do not waste your time in this place, all the personal is rude as hell, and they make you pay for everything, even to enter, I mean if they’re offering a service and they’re making to pay, the least thing they could do is to give a good one. Bad bad bad 👎🏻
