I just had a transmission rebuild done by Dave and his team at Annex. Everyone there is very professional and willing to inform people like myself who are not very knowledgeable about vehicles. I found the honesty and transparency of the process unique and will be using Annex Auto for all my needs. My car sounds like it did when I bought it, I can't thank them enough. It's the place I always go. For years! Tucked away, a little further to go but they always treat you like person. Price is always reasonable. They don't get to see the joy or happiness they provide when your car or truck is fixed for a reasonable price. It's the Little things that make the biggest difference. There are other places to go but for me those places are second choices.

I love the Annex. I have been coming here since 1999. Dave is always very helpful. He pretty much has anything and if he doesn't have what you need he will help look for it at other scrap yards to see if they have it. This is a great place to get good second hand parts if you are low on cash and can't buy new. They are very reasonably priced. Great place in general. Honorable, honest, affordable, reliable, do business with these guys.Story: bought rebuilt 2006 Toyota Matrix from their scrap yard, ICBC write-off.-Haggled with me on price, gave me a great deal.-I noticed a mild shaking in the wheel at highway speeds, figured it needed some adjustments. Without any hesitation gave me free: wheel alignment, tire balancing, one new rim as the old one was a bit bent, and replaced 2 wheel bearings. Fixed at no cost.-Check engine light came on for some reason, they ran the error code and changed the O2 sensors for free. Fixed at no cost.-Trunk pistons were a bit weak, they changed them. Fixed at no cost.-Bumper needed some fasteners replaced. Fixed at no cost.-Driver manual window roller was a bit sticky. Fixed at no cost.I returned to buy a full set of tired from them, gave me great deal and installed at no cost.Then I drove the car 7000km+ to the other side of the country in the middle of winter!! No problems, mechanically sound. Amazing customer service. All I had to do was call them and let them know I noticed something that I was a bit unsatisfied with and they corrected it at no cost. It did take a few visits but as soon as I said hey I noticed X not super happy with that do you think you could take a look at it? Their answer way always no problem just come by the shop and we will figure it out and they did every time. They also fit me in with very little notice as I lived out of town and they made time for me and even let me use their truck when my car was in the shop. (I also kinda scraped their truck in a parking lot and they were super chill about it) Five stars. Spend your money here.#not all heroes wear capes.

The staff were rockstars. Super friendly and cool to let you take a quick look in case you need a part. I found a rare hood and headlights for a good price and had an awesome time all around. These guys know there stuff too, very relaxed and professional. I recommend them for your part needs.

We've bought parts there and even a whole car once and it has always been a good experience. The staff have always been nice.How about this for an endorsement: I have no problem sending my wife to buy parts by herself because she's always been treated well.

In the past I have purchased parts from Annex but, the most recent experience has left me disappointed. I was looking for a baring with ball joint as I don't have a press for a new joint. Both my brother and uncle called in and asked about their baring with joint and said we need the joint in because we do not have a press. We called in on a Friday and I went in the next day, the part was not taken out of the vehicle and there was no mention of the part needing to be Uninstalled from a vehicle. After alot of wasted time I was able to pick up the part on the following Monday. When we went to put the baring into the car, we noticed the joint was damaged and unusable. My brother called Annex and they denied that we had told them we wanted an intact joint in the baring. They told us to just return it. The baring on my vehicle was unable to be put back on because it was damaged. We needed to use the baring that we bought from Annex but, had to purchase a new joint. If I would have known that we needed to still press in a joint I would not have spent 125.00 on a used rusted baring and spent 80.00 on a brand new one. We were stuck in a predicament and had to use the baring we got from Annex. After hours of using a vice to push in the new joint we were able to get it put together. I brought my receipt from Lordco into Annex, I did not ask for my 125.00 back as I understand that it is a used part. All I wanted was to be reimbursed for at least half of what the new joint cost me so only 45.00. They were rude and denied that we had asked for a baring with joint. Even though when I came to get the part, I asked about the joint and told them that the whole reason why I was buying the baring was because we do not have a press. They had three different occasions to tell me that the joint was damaged instead of wasting my time and money on a damaged part. I am not impressed with their lack of customer service and disregard to be honest of the quality and health of their parts. For their future encounters with customers I would suggest proper communication and not arguing with customers on the details of what was said. Instead a solution to the problem at hand which in this case was a 45.00 refund. The reason why I gave you a one star review is not because the part was damaged, it because you did not offer any kind of solution. Rather you argued and came to no common ground. I feel that you did not value me as a customer nor the business I was giving you. Needless to say myself and my family will NOT be returning to your place of business to buy parts again.
