    I called ahead to see if they'd be ok with me showing up with some scrap shortly before closing time (I didn't want to be THAT guy). I was told that as long as I arrived before 4:45 that it would be ok. I drove 45min to arrive shortly before closing, like I'd asked, only to be informed that they were closed and couldn't do anything. I would have appreciated just being told 'no' on the phone so I wouldn't have wasted an hour and a half driving with a trailer.

    When you first drive-in it is your basic metal recycling yard. When you pull around back, you will be greeted by a very professional, courteous, trustworthy, good-looking guy by the name of Tburd. Once you meet him you will not want to leave. If I could rate Bailey's recycling 287 stars I would. 286 of them would go to Tburd. My wife was so impressed by him, he was all she could talk about for 8 or 9 days. Very fair deals.

    It's one of the better places to take your scrap metal. The staff doesn't treat you like you are bothering them like I've found their competition does. They are friendly and help you get the stuff out of your vehicle. They notice if their coworker needs help to keep the business flowing quickly. Only downfall is location out northeast of town but I'm sure that's a plus for some as well!
