Been going to dels for 15yrs today there operator smashed half my trailer down 2in from the ground and the desrespectful p. O. S owner told me it would be fine if I hit a few times with a hammer. Did over 1000 bucks worth of damage to a 2 week old trailer . The owner is such a looser he just mouthed off and couldn't even offer to fix it . That how they treat vets at dells metal.

Other companies have come and gone .Dels has been there for as long as I can remember and I am 63 years old. Will continue to be my go to place.

I've never had a bad experience here. Ladies in the office are always pretty nice. I love the friendly office tabby.

Del’s Metal is a family owned business in the QCA that we at Global Security Services have had the great opportunity of doing business with. In our trade we have leftover wiring and old dead batteries that fill our technicians vans and our stockroom. We have always been able to count on Del’s to give us fair market pricing on things that we would normally throw away. Keeping our facility clean along with being able to help the environment by recycling Is a no brainer. Del’s metal has a friendly and knowledgeable staff that I would recommend to anyone.

Do not bring your catalytic converter to dels they told me mine was worth 10 bucks I said that's b******* and I told the guy I checked the internet and the type I had was worth 70 to $100 the guy in the small-scale still insisted 10 bucks I went to alter and they gave me $95. That was not the first time Rock Island f****** me I brought one few years back those f****** gave me three bucks so do not bring your catalytic converter 2 Dells. Also and alter they checked my serial number on my converter and turned out to be a premium small bread loaf and they gave me top dollar five stars to altar

I can't believe that I have to give this scam of a place one star would love it Google would let you put a no star or a half of one I just took a load of sheet iron in the outside scale read that I weighed 6600 plus I unload then go back and re-weigh the outside scale tells me that I'm now at 5840 so now I'm under the impression that I just unloaded almost 800 pounds I'm thinking a nice little payday [how little did I realize that I was about to get the big shaft with no lub] so i park walk up the stairs open the door walk up to the new lady the one that they got to take Amys spot she ask for my name i give it to her I sign she hands me my money and receipt at this time I'm asking the skinny girl how much dirty number 2 copper wire is going for she replays all depends upon what it is so I explain power, extension, lamp, ext she says 32 cents a pound [[[ I know that Midwest recycling is willing to pay over 60 cents a pond for dirty number 2 copper wire ]]]]] so I ask how much clean number 2 copper wire is going for this is the point where I look at my receipt and notice that they only paid me for 380 pounds of dirty sheet [[[all of my sheet iron was clean]]] so I tell them that when I came in that outside scale read 6600 plus than the girls inside precede to tell me that we don't got go by the one outside we go by the that is inside as soon I call me out on ripping me the old bit ch inside tells me that I don't have to come here anymore she would only say this to me because Dell's metal knows that they are scamming good honest people out of money that they worked really hard for Dell's is pocketing all that extra money that they should be paying to the people and I busted them out on it so now they don't want me back there ok no problem I'll just go to Midwest recycling from now on I don't get scammed there... Now I see why Amy don't work there at Dell's metal anymore she probably got tired of Dell's scamming good honest hard working people just trying to get some extra money in there pockets for things such as dippers and wipes.. I wonder if the department of weights and measures of Illinois knows about Dell's metal and how they use the scale outside and inside to scam you.. Talk about highway robbery Dell's metal is now king of highway robbery.. to Dell's I say I can't wait for the day that you guys are shut down for good or tell the owners to go get help for either drugs or gambling problems why else would Dell's be scamming everybody that takes in scrap
