Never good when you have to get a vehicle serviced, but these guys make it as painless as possible. I've compared their prices with people in the industry I trust and been told everything looks fair. Their reports are comprehensive and communication is clear. I've had to change some plans and they were flexible. What else can you want? They've worked on my ride several timesServices: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical repair

Suggest not to go there if you want to save your money, go somewhere else. Had very bad experience with them never going back again. These guys just rip of the customers. Two weeks ago I visited to fix up my car which they fixed it and gave surety to me that its properly fixed. But after two weeks that problem happened again and I visited them to get it fix. They say we have to start over again doing the full inspection. Like what’s the point of full inspection if it was already inspected just two weeks ago as I paid $230 to these guys just for the inspection and rest of the labour cost was separate. I understand the labour cost and I am not denying to pay it but paying $230 for the inspection again is such a foolish thing, it’s totally ripping off. The guy on the front desk was so rude he said our mechanics don’t work for free and I want to tell him my money isn’t growing on trees I work hard for it.Service: Steering & suspension repair

When I brought my vehicle in (for something stuck in the heater fan) I told the service writer that while they had it apart, replace the fan motor if it wasn't perfect, as it was starting to get a little noisy before the issue came up. But there was NO communication between the service writer and technician. They put it back together with the old (now damaged and very noisy) fan and wanted to charge me the labor to replace it after they just had it out. I went out and bought a new one that day and replaced it myself. I'm not impressed.Service: Air conditioning

River's edge is an amazing place to deal. They are so friendly, knowledgeable and kind. My heat stopped working during our first cold day and they looked after me quite quickly. I am very grateful and highly recommend them. Thank you Brody! Service: Electrical repair

I had four tires on rims switched over. They have a very expensive rate ($150 and would of been $200 with a sensor). At first they tried to charge me with the sensor so I had to correct that and secondly they put the wrong lug nuts on. I had provided the correct ones in the bags with the tires. We were headed on a long distance journey the next day and my husband had to change them all over as they were different sizes and we did not know if it would be safe on the highway. Will never go there again. Very disappointed, especially if the situation turned into a life safety issue.

Booked my Ford Expedition in for an Alignment. Overall I'm very happy with the work done, truck drives straight, and I was happy to receive a complimentary inspection and car wash all included in the price. I will be a returning customer.

The service was done in a timely fashion and well done. I appreciated but declined due to time, the complimentary car wash. They did their utmost to reduce my costs and as a retired person that meant a great deal. Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical repair

Brought my vehicle in for an inspection. When I dropped it off, I specified to the service technician that my major concerns were that the ABS light was coming on and that ABS was kicking on when not needed. I also told them about what I thought was a transmission leak. I was told that they would take a look a those concerns. I spent close to $400 dollars on this inspection, was given a report of 15 concerns and work order amounting to 8 grand. Nowhere on this report is the leak addressed, nor is the cause of the ABS light (all that is mentioned is that the ABS warning light is on, which I had pointed our PRIOR to appointment). I am still unsure what the cause is- im assuming its related to the calipers however I am so disappointed. When I went to pick my vehicle up, no one went over the results with me. The had me pay up and asked me to book in for service. The vehicle is parked in my driveway and the leak is very visible. My concerns are:- how thorough is this inspection if a leak is missed (especially after being brought to service advisor's attention when dropped off)- this is either result of poor communication within team or general disregard-poor attention to detail, complete disregard for customer concerns relating to vehicle and why it was brought in-honestly felt like a money grab. For 400$ and the 8000$ quoted, I would hope someone would take the time to go over the report and address the concerns I hadLuckily, I was able to bring the report to another shop who was able to go over the results for free. I have booked my service with them and am grateful that they listened to my concerns re: ABS and leak.

Maybe it was just a misunderstanding? But the last time I went here for a rotor and brake job, I was schedule a week away because they were pretty busy. When the day came, they inspected/diagnosed the car and I was told I'll need to book another schedule (another 1 week waiting) for the actual fixing of the car (frontend rotor and brake pad change). So all in all 1 week for diagnosis and another 1 week of waiting for the actual job. I went to another shop in the city and they we're able to fix my issue in a day.

Absolutely amazing shop! I love the high level of customer service, thorough inspections, reasonable price quotes and excellent level of overall service! I have had my van in twice for different services and both times they have exceeded my expectations! I have had my van into a couple shops knowing there were front end issues only to be told they couldn’t find anything. I didn’t even mention anything to River’s Edge about my concerns as this visit was for a belt replacement and oil change. Through their inspection they found a number of issues none of the other shops found which is most concerning to me. Yay to Greg S for being an amazing tech! I also truly appreciate the quote given for costs is what I ended up paying!! I have been to other shops where the cost seemed to change astronomically without notice! I highly recommend River’s Edge!!Services: Oil change, Air conditioning, General repairs & maintenance
