I have known of Royal Gorge auto care for almost 9 years since we moved to Penrose. I had a mechanic in Pueblo West that I have used for many, many years and have really appreciated him, but he is overwhelmed with work right now. I did try these guys out and I have to tell you they are absolutely top-notch when it comes to professionalism. They had my truck for about a day and a half and were able to diagnose the issue but because it is 33 years old they were not able to program the new computer that I need to purchase and get installed. They spent hours figuring out what the problem was. When I went to pick it up, they did not charge me at all! I can tell you they will have my business from now on. I would recommend them to anyone.

They have helped me out twice and they were a great service, but I felt like i was overcharged so I was ratherly annoyed about that.

We were traveling from Michigan through Colorado when we were involved in an accident on Hwy 50. The guy named Cory came out to tow our car and was extremely helpful! He reassured us of the correct actions to take and offered to drive us to a safe spot off the road so we could make some calls and get a ride. Excellent customer service and Cory was a friendly face for an out of town visitor who was really frazzled at the time!

Traveling for vacation. A few miles outside of Canyon my sister’s car broke down. We limped into town and stopped here to get it looked at. Not only did they take the vehicle in immediately for diagnostics, but they were up front and honest. We had 7 kids with us and the owner treated them like grandkids. Gave them water and snacks. The lady behind the counter even called around for a rental car for us. The entire staff turned a stressful situation into a much more manageable experience. Truly great people.

Great group of people here all day!! Family business, everyone is always in a great mood and ready for a good laugh. Older trucks, they need some new tow trucks but the ones they have work….. for now!!! The tow truck driver is on time all the time and the mechanics know what they’re doing!!! And they sell cars so if you’re hoofin it stop by and see what you can get. Look for the car in the sky!!

NEVER purchase a vehicle from these crooks, especially if you finance through them.They have a history of losing documentation of payments and “repossessing” paid off vehicles.Worst business in Fremont County.

Cory the is the owner. This business has been passed down through generations.They do nothing but quality and Honest business.They have worked very hard to help a poor folk like me. Also they have some of the best and most well seasoned mechanics I've ever met. I go to them for any and every vehicle need. Cars,trucks, tires, and oil changes, etc... I take to them because this business is ran very well and these people are Trust worthy

If I could give them half a star it would be more appropriate! Service was terrible, walking in on a recommendation apparently doesn't help either. Went to look for a car, we were met with a gentleman putting a list of overpriced vehicles in front of us. Some they wanted 10k for. Not only were they 10+ years old, they had lots of body damage. Absolutely not worth the asking price. It was cold so I guess showing us the cars was out of the question. As a customer who had cash on hand, I will gladly take my business somewhere they respect and appreciate clients.

I went to the business with every intention of buying a car. The price list was not available and when we asked for it the sole person at the counter kept putting us off. If the dealership had been busy I would have understood, but my wife and I were the only people there. I am glad that the business has so many positive reviews because that shows that they don't need my business.
