I do not understand why Arcadia Salvage only has 1 review. I just received my brand new table and bench today, and they are GORGEOUS!! I’m in California and Arcadia Salvage is located in Alabama. His tables/benches are made of REAL reclaimed wood from houses built in the late 1800s. When the trees were harvested the were already approximately 200 years old. So the wood used to make my new table and bench is approximately 300 years old. This table and bench in my opinion are heirloom pieces. The wood is pine, but what people don’t realize (including myself, until Brandon explained this to me) is that the pine trees back then produced a very heavy duty sought after wood, nothing like pine today. I have a built in kitchen booth so I needed the table to be made in specific dimensions. He said no problem, and made both pieces exactly in the sizes I wanted and he did not charge me more money either. In order to ship to California Brandon packed the table and bench fully assembled into a crate via a freight company. He made sure the crate was the right size so it would fit between the wheel wells of my husband’s pick up truck when we brought it home from the freight hub near our home. When we opened the crate my husband could not believe how perfectly it was packaged in the crate so that it was certain to arrive in perfect condition, and it did. Brandon delivered in every area…. He is a class act and makes gorgeous high quality pieces at very reasonable prices. I couldn’t be happier!!

I was looking for a farm table made from reclaimed wood for my dining room when I came across the Arcadia Salvage website. I ordered a 7 foot trestle table, and it is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted!! Brandon and his dad are true artisans, and I highly recommend them.
