From Satisfied Customer to Feeling Cheated and Disrespected I've been a customer of Mr. Oscar at Good Deal Autobody before, and our past encounters were always respectful. I was generally pleased with his work, which is why I returned. However, my most recent experience was completely different, and I felt genuinely disrespected. When I dropped my car off, I meticulously walked him around the car, showing him everything I needed done. He said he would send an estimate for "all the damages" and to get my car "back into rentable condition." The estimate I received was much higher than I expected, and it was missing items we had discussed. When I tried to negotiate, he was firm, which I respected. To save money, I offered to get the parts myself and pay for his labor. He agreed. Then, he called to ask if I had a left rear taillight, claiming it was also broken. I asked why it wasn't in the original estimate, and he danced around the question before offering to install it for free if I bought it. When I dropped the part off, I checked on the car and noticed dents on the roof and rear driver door hadn't been touched. When I called him out, he told me I never mentioned them. I was shocked—I guess I should have had a camera running when I showed him the car. During this argument, he told me, "when I gave you the estimate, you were bitching about the price." I don't believe any business should speak to a customer that way. He eventually agreed to fix the roof dent, but not the door. On pickup day, the disrespect continued. He parked my car at the entrance and held onto the keys, as if he thought I would drive off without paying. When I wanted to test the rear camera, I asked for the keys. He just said, "it working," and got in to start the car himself, making sure to keep the keys in his possession. I only got them after I paid in full. The final straw came when I got home and found two interior taillight covers missing. I texted him a picture with no response. When I brought the car back the next day, he and his employee spoke in Spanish, then told me his guy said the parts were "missing when he started." I said, "I know my car, these parts were NOT missing." Mr. Oscar just looked at me, smirked, and said, "you know your car, huh?" Then, after his guy drove the car to the back, the parts suddenly reappeared. He then tried to tell me I was "wrongly accusing him" and that the parts were in the car the whole time. All I had done was politely point out they were missing and ask for it to be addressed. My goal in writing this is to let people know about this unacceptable behavior. The work might be okay, but the disrespect, the false accusations, and the unprofessionalism are not worth it. I will not be going back.

Good Deal Auto Body Center did a great job in replacing the front end of my 2016 Toyota Corolla S. ( Bumper, grille, headlights, fog lights) They gave a great price, did the work in a very timely fashion with excellent workmanship.
