Phil is a superb machinist and very diligent in his work. He takes the time to talk with you about your engine goals and explain costs / processes. Great follow-through and communication throughout. Very friendly. His assistant / other machinist is also very knowledgeable and helpful Complete head rebuild turnaround was about 2 weeks which is pretty quick all things considered. Update: Would like to note that Phil means what he says when he says "I treat everyone who walks in that door like they're my neighbor". There was a mistake made in my valve grind and he was nice enough to come out and double check my measurements, and then paid for any wasted parts to make things right. Real stand up guy, would highly recommend

Phil is one of the most knowledgeable machinists I’ve talked with , I have talked to a few of shops in the area and he’s definitely running one of best shops. I brought in my crankshaft and he did an amazing job.
