I'm genuinely surprised they're still in business. When I first inquired about an engine, I was told it was so clean it was sitting on their showroom floor. The very next day, when I called to pay, they told me they needed two days to pull it out of a car. I went ahead and ordered the engine anyway, with a promise of delivery within two days. It’s now been three weeks—still no engine. Every time I call, I get the same story: “It'll be delivered tomorrow.” Completely unprofessional. Don’t waste your time with this company.

Horrible Company / Staff .. The guy who sighed my check was bragging How he had a felony ! Also How The owner has know idea what he really takes there ! He said he was gonna use all the money he collects to buy a house . Hmm ??? Not smart of him or owner if you ask me, I will Now be taking my scrap to Joliet . worth the drive .. They also really have no idea on how to price things .. Trust me do Not waste Your time People ..

I needed assistance with a vehicle repair. It was my 1st time there but they were highly recommended by my friend. I was surprised of their immediate assistance and my starter and battery was installed immediately. They also did a full check of my vehicle putting to rest any additional worries. Metal recycling yard. No paved roads, and there's tiny shards of debris laying around so drive carefully. Drove in a little to spot someone and asked where to put our metals. We recycled a printer, modem tower, and blender today. I saw everything from metal benches, appliances, computers, radios, to scrap metal everywhere.

Good place the Mrs. Sita at the door basically told me right I should buy a new sensor instead of one that's already been in use. That's probably why it isn't working the vans old, and needs a new part. It'll be easier to make sure it's fix than it should work out right. The price new was cheaper online at rockauto.com for two sensors than to pay more for the both of them there. Thanks. I was glad to be able to know how to take it apart there first than on my vehicle. I appreciate the honest professional opinion.

Less than zero black stars. Bluff recycling is what they really are. They bluff you if you let them . Beware of the weigh they record. I had two scrap machines to deliver that weighs approximately 25000 lbs each . They took the first one and they took a while to print out the ticket and it seems kinda sketchy, the weigh was recorded at 20.000lbs . And they deducted more than expected. So I went with it. I took the next exact machine to south shore recycling It it weighed 26,000 lbs . They ripped me off by 5000lbs ... wow the price was just barely under $2,000 bluff city recycling. While Southshore paid me $2,588.00. And a low deduction of junk material. I will never look even at the dust that comes out of that bluff city recycling location. And the crain operator has no experience unloading heavy equipment which damaged my trailer while unloading. I complained about the damages and They kicked me out the yard because I wanted to make a report and they refused to cooperate, instead I was band from there . Like I really want to go there again . They are idiots they think my insurance won't go after them because they said they are not responsible for anything they break in their yard . They must not know the law. They tried to use the word by mouth policy with out educating me properly Boy they are thieves for sure Dont say I didn't warn you. You may not know me And I don't know you , but I sure know who Hugo and his recycling clowns are. Have a blessed day you hard working animals you . God is good remember that.

These guys customer service is awful. Tired to order a engine from them. After 2 weeks and 12 phone calls I was finally able to get a call back. At this point I was hesitant to give them money. They informed me they will not ship parts. They should take all their listings off car-part if they don't want to sell parts. Thanks for the run around.

Was quoted a price for my old truck. They waited a day to get back to me then the tow driver gave some vague reason and shorted me a full 1/4 of the quote. Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took a rear-end from my 92 Lincoln Town car. This thing after I drained out all the fluids weighed a good 250 lbs. I got $10. Every time I go there I feel like I've been ripped off. At least they are nice as they rip me off or at least until you try and stand up for yourself. If I can help it I will never go back. I have also seen other reviews and well I'm not the person that feels that way.
