Came in at 4 pm and the lady in the office said "in total we must have 20lbs or more". This was after they threw around 15 to 20 small electric motors all over (in and out of boxes and all over the floor). My bf and I know they weighed way over 20lbs total! We had already weighed the bucket with the electric motors at home and gotten a weight of 43lbs. The office lady said we could take them or leave them but she wasn't paying for them as she walked out the door to her car and left. DIDNT GET A CENT! AND ENDED UP HAVING TO LEAVE OVER $60 IN ELECTRIC MOTORS! DO NOT GO HERE!

I highly recommend you don't shop with this company. They lie. They will curse you out and hang up on their customers.. I paid 2100 for an engine that was not efficient. I called within warranty and have been waiting for months for my money back or a new engine. I have text messages pictures and voice recordings of the lies they told me. I now have a lawsuit in order. Worst money I've ever spent. Don't believe these scammers. I've been more than patient!!

Horrible Company / Staff .. The guy who sighed my check was bragging How he had a felony ! Also How The owner has know idea what he really takes there ! He said he was gonna use all the money he collects to buy a house . Hmm ??? Not smart of him or owner if you ask me, I will Now be taking my scrap to Joliet . worth the drive .. On the phone, I was told I would get back $600. When the tow guy arrived, he started saying the engine is bad … and the caliber isn’t the original part on my car. Then rushed to sign paperwork, gave me only $120, and went his merry way. The website says $500 minimum guarantee. I only got $120! If you would have gave me $400 or $300 I would have been satisfied. Terrible. False advertising. $120 for my car but you are going to sell it for 2 grand or more. I’m still waiting for this matter to be resolved.

They made a hole in my dry van I do not recommend this place !!! Lot of Mud ,wires , nails on the ground , nastiest place I ever seen , please avoid this place!!!!!

Prices are a little high for some things, but great deals on others. Always ask about the price of something before you assume. And the whole core charge deal is ridiculous. They should definitely git rid of that scam! Also always wear gloves here! You never know what is inside these cars!! LOL

Less than zero black stars. Bluff recycling is what they really are. They bluff you if you let them . Beware of the weigh they record. I had two scrap machines to deliver that weighs approximately 25000 lbs each . They took the first one and they took a while to print out the ticket and it seems kinda sketchy, the weigh was recorded at 20.000lbs . And they deducted more than expected. So I went with it. I took the next exact machine to south shore recycling It it weighed 26,000 lbs . They ripped me off by 5000lbs ... wow the price was just barely under $2,000 bluff city recycling. While Southshore paid me $2,588.00. And a low deduction of junk material. I will never look even at the dust 🤧 that comes out of that bluff city recycling location. And the crain operator has no experience unloading heavy equipment which damaged my trailer while unloading. I complained about the damages and They kicked me out the yard because I wanted to make a report and they refused to cooperate, instead I was band from there . Like I really want to go there again . They are idiots they think my insurance won't go after them because they said they are not responsible for anything they break in their yard . They must not know the law. They tried to use the word by mouth policy with out educating me properly Boy they are thieves for sure Dont say I didn't warn you. You may not know me And I don't know you , but I sure know who Hugo and his recycling clowns are. Have a blessed day you hard working animals you 💪 . God is good remember that. ✌️

Great service. I called for prices on two trucks I had to scrap. Amanda was very friendly, informative and gave me very reasonable prices. Drivers came within time frame and both were very friendly. Omar came and zipped vehicle right on out. Eric came for other, had a few issues with it but it all worked out and truck was gone. Highly recommend if you need to get rid of vehicles that don't run and you can't tow. Everyone was great.

Picked up a driver side window for my brothers car. Kind people.

I took a rear-end from my 92 Lincoln Town car. This thing after I drained out all the fluids weighed a good 250 lbs. I got $10. Every time I go there I feel like I've been ripped off. At least they are nice as they rip me off or at least until you try and stand up for yourself. If I can help it I will never go back. I have also seen other reviews and well I'm not the person that feels that way.
