First time calling a couple of weeks ago. Asking for a specific part and guy on the phone says, “I can’t go look for that part because I’m swamped here.” Eventually, he said he’d look for and give me a call “tomorrow” and never called. Can’t understand why the guy there can’t do his job and gives a customer a nasty attitude. AVOID this place at all costs.

Went in on Monday 2/10/25 around 12pm to get an alternator. Wasn’t able to get the name of the person that helped me but he was great help. Helped me find an alternator for my car and was able to even help me find a mechanic since mine was on vacation. He gave me many options including mobile mechanics and mechanics that were close by. I went to one that he recommended and they did a great job . Very thankful for the employee

It was drive lol Dan was cordial and helpful they had what I needed so that was a plus.

Called them to get my vehicle junked. Got a price,got a day and got a time they would come pick it up. We'll they never showed up. I called was told they have no idea what's up with their tow guy. I never got a call back. Call the next day to reschedule a pickup. They hang up. VERY DISSAPOINTING. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. fun fact I am 5 minutes from them but they can't even get my car for whatever reason.

I am very happy with your business. I'm there once or twice a week. Very fair about prices. The guy at door 8 (medal room) is just about as friendly as they come. The woman in the scale house is the same way. There is another scrap yard closer to me but I'm going the extra 2 miles just because I'm treated good here. Keep up the good work

I will never I said never recommend a dog to buy from those people they reap you off they're rude. I bought a drive shaft from them they said it had a 12400 miles on it went to my mechanic to get it installed less than 5 minutes driving out the shop the drive shaft snap on me. Went to them for a refund. Told them that they sold me an old part. I have the part less than a day. And they wouldn't refund or try to reach me in the middle. They blame my mechanic. Saying he didn't know what he was doing. Other mechanics I know said it's an easy part to replace they sold me a diffected part. So I lost a total of $337. Know one wants to take the blame. One is pointing at each other. I trust my mechanic. But Nelson junk yard never. Fire will burn them soon a part will fall on their freaking head one day. Will never recommend any human being or dogs there.

RECEIVED JUNK MOTOR, ENGINE WAS RUSTED ON CYLINDERS, ALL VALVES WERE RUSTED. SAT OUTSIDE, DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. $2,000 DOWN THE DRAIN. NOW I GOT A CAR WITH NO ENGINE SITTING ON MY LIFT.

Beware of shiesty practices especially with Rob. Local police arrange tow. Explored repair options with co-owner John who seemed much more honest and agreeable to my terms than his partner Rob. Repair options ended up prohibitively expensive and in excess of vehicle value. At that point co-owner Rob took over the discussion, tells me he planned to wreck the vehicle to junk yard and initially agrees to my conditions for vehicle surrender which involved my removing a recently installed part. After he demands I sign over my title, he allows me access to his lot and my vehicle but during part removal I realize I need to to get a tool to finish the job, leave briefly, then upon returning police were called and Rob switches position re: part removal, accuses me of not being qualified, threatens me with trespassing, says he's not planning to wreck vehicle anymore, implying he wanted to keep vehicle all along. Even Police responding to scene recognized the dishonesty that was playing out. Very regrettable experience. Would not recommend. No Stars. 0/5. 👎👎

Can’t complain. I heard good things about Lori from previous reviews so when I met her I had a feelings things would go smoothly. Picked up my vehicle. Someone stole the battery but it’s no big deal. I fixed the vehicle the same day I got it for free.

Nothing better than a Freon shower on a hot summer day! The environment thanks you for draining all the Freon from your junkyard all these years into the atmosphere :) Workers are useless as they come

The owner doesn’t respect or meet expectations he will sell you a bad motor then tell you ur stuck with it or he will sell you the wrong part and then.not give you your money back he will say you get store credit the owner is Corey he is a bald guy with a beard. and he will lie and and say he’s not the owner He also won’t pay his Employees When they no longer work There when the quit and he owed them money

Super cool place. If you scrap metal you can load you truck, come here and the will weight the truck before and after. A lot of people so come early. If you have aluminum or copper I belive you most let them know and bring it before you enter. I belive they pay more for that. Thank you so much guys

They helped my brother alot. They were very patient, understanding. Prices are very fair, if your looking for a vehicle come here they won’t disappoint probably on of the best salvages i been too in Long Island.
