This company immediately answered their phone and got out to my car in less than 15 minutes and had it open in a few minutes. The guy was chill AF and I would recommend them to anyone to get their car opened up after locking their keys in. Especially being Valentine's Day and almost 10pm at night he still came out and did his job efficiently.

Address:3333 N Railroad Ave, Pasco, WA (Zipcode: 99301)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedDid not at all care for the automated check in with your phone but the guy that brought the car out and loaded it on the trailer was top notch. I have driven a few fork lifts, skid steers and tool carriers over the years, but this guy amazing. He put that car on the trailer exactly where I wanted it then pulled his 16 foot forks out out of the small space under the vehicle without dragging on the trailer or the car. He didn't even knock the 1" of snow off the deck of the trailer. Great work! He treated our car as if it was his own!

Address:9319 Martin Way E, Olympia, WA (Zipcode: 98513)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedThe owner there helped us out in a bind when we put our spare tire on our trailer and it blew around the are he is located. We had no money and no means for anything and he was generous enough to help us out with two tires that git us home safely. Thank you whoever you may be!!
Some really nice-looking deals on cars and good prices on parts. However, when we asked to get a car looked at by a shop, either after fully purchasing or with a caveat on the sale that we could return the car if issues were found, the owner both incorrectly described the law on cars and seemed to take it as a personal affront. Seemed like a weird attitude. 🤷♀️ It was also just difficult to be in touch with the decision maker. Understandable that he was stretched and stressed with an influx of inventory, but maybe that points to the need to delegate.

Address:11019 W Mcfarlane Rd, Airway Heights, WA (Zipcode: 99001)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedSo I enjoyed the bidding process but not the website and services. The deposit refund instructions are wrong on the website making it very hard and time consuming to deal with. My renewal was in Feb. and I received my renewal fee at the beginning of Dec! Called support and member services said they were able to process my refund and close my account but I didn’t receive confirmation of this. I only got an email saying my account is suspended and I will not be able to login, bid, or make payments. My account was still pulled up on my phone showing the $99 fee and my $400 deposits still there… now I am NOT able to get into the account to confirm there is no charges or fees pending. Had to call a location and she said the member services guy didn’t request the renewal fee be taken off! He only requested the deposits refund and suspended/DOWNGRADED my account rather than closing it like I asked! In all this process was a pain and took several hour to accomplish. The first person said they did what I asked and didn’t, he gets 1 out of 5 stars, Daisy at the Spokane location was the most help and polite but still was only able to put in requests for me but had no way of letting me know how the requests will turn out. But I would give her 4 out of 5 stars because she was making it seem like I was stuck with the $99 dollar early renewal charge till I kept asking how we can get it off of there. Now after dealing with the first person who didn’t request the renewal refund I don’t know if she actually was able to or if I was lied to like the first man I talked to. She said I might have access to my account information again to see how it turns out but as of right now I don’t and it’s still suspended so that’s not happening. Also they are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Same thing happened last year so I had to keep the account then this happened again this year. Needless to say I will not do business with this company again unless things are changed.

Address:6907 216th St SW, Lynnwood, WA (Zipcode: 98036)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedForeign Engines sells "good quality engines" with "90% of customers satisfied" but the two engines they sold me in a row were failures. I had to sell the car, due to the difference in quality from what I heard about Foreign Engines and what I experienced. The car was stored for 2 years while I saved for an engine and searched for a place to complete the swap at. I payed a professional to do labor warranty work on the new motor; but it didn't make it out of the driveway before I noticed coolant in both the valve cover and coolant draining out of the oil pan. I was refunded the cost of the engine, and accepted the labor/parts cost as lost. So, I bought a second engine from this company because if 90% of customers are satisfied, I should be fine the second time around; but it did not get delivered because "it didn't pass our deeper inspection". I was refunded again. I appreciate Foreign Engines for checking the second engine out, saving me from installation; but at the end of the day I had to sell the car I was going to keep forever. Where I feel massively screwed over is, due to the trusted reputation of Foreign Engines, I restored the entire interior, fuel system, and brake system on the car. I was very proud of myself being "just a kid in college". I'm here to say that their reputation doesn't mean anything... So, as Foreign Engines pulls you in with their lower prices; consider other options because they sold me two bad engines in a row and I had to sell it because the parking for it was expiring. If Foreign Engines sold used quality motors this wouldn't have happened. 90% satisfaction but sell me two bad engines in a row... yes refunded, but lost labor costs, time, heartbreak. Fortunately, I found a great home for my car and they are motor swapping it.

I had given up hope, but finally heard back from Chris, who sounds efficient and courteous. At this point, negotiations are commencing, so this review is a work in progress. I'm happy that they got back to me; we'll see how the transaction goes. Stay tuned!

Address:109 Carpenter Rd NE, Lacey, WA (Zipcode: 98516)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedThis business only pays in rounded down dollar amounts. Example $10.99 = $10.00. On a yearly basis this business is padding their margins. There was a sign stating this during Covid years back because of a change shortage. Sign is now gone and nothing indicates you will get the full amount you expect when recycling with them. I will not be doing business here ever again. UPDATE: In reply to Sutter Metals full pament by check their attendant hands you a cash amount with a receipt rounded down to the dollar and never explains their policy of generating a check for your full payment. If you never check the receipt you will never know. In addition all other businesses deal with burdensome change every day and seem to operate a better quality business model since the passing of the Covid epidemic. I could understand this companies business model if they stated it upfront with a professional sign at the scale shack stating their policy. "Cash payment is rounded down to nearest $ or full $ amount is paid by check." Give your customers a choice leaving no doubts as to whether your attendant explained your policy or not. Understanding it's pennies on the pound per customer, however, at the end of the day it amounts to dollars on the pound for the business.

He came out to my car to measure, I bought them, he asked me if I’d like help replacing them (I’d otherwise YouTube this lol) and then asked me to test it out. I appreciate how prompt and helpful he was.

Address:1440 Leary Way NW, Seattle, WA (Zipcode: 98107)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedThey sell used Volvo parts. Not much to say 10/10 They also will work on your car: Finding someone with such thorough knowledge of 80s Volvos is very helpful in this day and age for people keeping them running. They seem to stand by their work and charge a fair price. (They modified an aftermarket distributor for me because the original was no longer available. Total life saver and my car runs perfectly now) I did have a mistake that rubbed me the wrong way: After having the transmission swapped in my car, the kickdown cable was set so that it never reached the kickdown detent at full throttle. They explained their mechanic "usually gets it right the first time" and they'll readjust it. When I complained, they set it so that it hit the kickdown detent at only 1/2 throttle which is even more unhinged... Why would I want a car that doesn't shift out of 1st gear until 4000rpm?? I was able to set it myself with the engine off just by the feel of the throttle so that the detent was at the end of the pedal travel and it was perfect the first time. Definitely gives the sense that the mechanic might not know what he's doing. Especially since the service manuals explain how to set it using numerical measurements (the cool thing about numbers is they're the same every time) I did have two other issues that really weren't their fault as far as I can tell but my girlfriend was mad at me for not taking my car to Kim in the first place..
