The employees helped us in every way possible, made sure we could get what we needed, and helped us get back home safe. It was another successful trip to my local O’Reilly Auto Parts, “We” took a starter back this morning. They checked it and gave “us” another with no problem. “Our” patronage was welcomed, and I’m very much looking forward to doing future business with my local O’Reilly Auto Parts in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina!

The experience while I was there was pleasant, everyone was happy to help and were ready to find the part I needed. The experience after was terrible. While I was in the process of paying for the part, Angel, the woman that was working at the front desk, affirmed me that I had 30 days to make a return and even told me that sometimes the restock fee was waived. I directly asked Angel if I was dumb and bought the wrong part if I could return it, she told me yes. One day later I look at the part closer and see I bought the wrong part but it was raining so I didn't bother trying to return the part. Two days after purchase, I was told I could not return the part because of what I had planned to do with it. I reminded Angel that she personally confirmed that I could return it, she told me flatly that I could not bring it back, even if I never even touched the part besides looking at it. I literally never moved the part I bought from where I placed it in my back seat, and I can't return it because of what why I wanted it. I will never return to this business and will actively tell all friends and family to never go here.

Great experience! My car was misbehaving at the store so I called Shepard's. The girls in the office were awsome, the price was completely fair and my car was back in my driveway before I got home from work. Would definitely call them again.

Ron at ext 2255 was an absolute joy! He went above and beyond to help me locate a part number when no one else could. He was very patient and personable. If you need any kind of assistance with parts, Ron is your guy!

Spoke to Jennifer on used part was polite said she'd call back she just asked to give her some time i called back after hour and a half and spoke to her and said part not available NOT the correct way to treat customers. Hope you all have Merry Christmas anyway!

Great place, have been taking our scrap metal here for years. Really like how you drive thur. Always someone to help and friendly workers. Really nice people. Easy to get in and out.

Just about always find the exact part that I’m looking for and for an unbeatably great price. In my opinion they are hands down the best salvage yard in the area!

I've been doing business with Doug at S & S Auto Parts for over 30 years and I've always had great parts, service and a great experience every time. It's also a great place to get your rotors turned if you do your own brakes.

First time customer. Great staff. Special thanks to Keith. He went out of his way to make sure I knew where I was going and helped me. As far as the roads; they have lots of traffic from large vehicles and yes there are pot holes and it's muddy after raining and dusty when it's dry but it's a metal recycle center. They're prices are competitive. They're staff is knowledgeable. I will use them again. As the sign says, Welcome to paradise.

Great local vendor for scrap metal very fast processing when you come in be where they close daily from 12:00 to 12:30 for lunch breaks

I will never bring my business here again, .05 cents per pound for mostly 14/2 AWG scrap wire. 140lbs for $15 with a few extras. I had half of this amount get me $86 dollars in Oklahoma. I almost left without the $15 because it shocked me so much, at least it is out of my garage and trailer now, DON’T GO HERE! Better places out there.

This company was great for the first year we were here. Since They’ve gained popularity the quality has gone down in my neighborhood. This is from today. They used to take nicely bagged garbage and the boxes were left a mess at my neighbors house. How much extra work is it do do a quality job? None of this was an issue in 2019.Update: ECC this is not the first time, I’ve used your service for almost 3 years. I watched your staff look at both my neighbors boxes and the 3 bags pictured and purposefully leave them. Your excuse that your trucks don’t have room for extra trash and I need to call ahead sounds ludicrous.

Be aware of the Jewish holidays. The recycling center closes for them apparently. Nothing updated on their google business listing to state that and wouldn’t know unless you’re a regular. I had taken a day off of work to haul off a load of metal and free up a trailer, will have to take a second day later on just to get it taken care of. They have people working, but they aren’t doing business.
