After our experience, I can tell you that Mehdi is a great human being. Completely trustworthy. Mehti was great to deal with! They replaced an engine for me that the dealer wouldn’t cover under the active warranty. The dealers estimate for the repair was $4900.00-$5100.00. Best Foreign’s price out the door was $3120.00. Not only was the price great, the work was done in a very timely manner and correctly. It’s a blessing to still have honest people out there to work on vehicles and not the crooked dealers!!!

Let me give some background to my 2003 Honda Civic. It all started when my I discovered my head gasket had blown. After I had gotten a UV dye test done at Matta Motors in Glassport, the test results had shown I had either a blown head gasket, cracked cylinder, or a cracked slave. The people at Matta Motors offered to perform an engine swap, in which they quoted me at $1400 for labor alone, not including the price of a new engine. I decided to contact the dealership that I had purchased my used vehicle at, which was North Hills Auto Mall. They told me that my warranty expired and that they do not do repairs, and then directed me to Best Foreign. I called Best Foreign to get some questions answered about pricing and labor. Mehti, the gentleman who works at Best Foreign, was very precise in his explanation of how he planned on repairing my vehicle, as well as giving a quote on parts + labor. The amount for parts AND labor was substantially less than what Matta Motors quoted me, and that was just labor. After he said he did not have a D17A2 in stock, he took the time to look around and order one. I had my car towed to Best Foreign, and it only took 5 days for the job to get done. On the day I went to pick up my car, Mehti showed me everything under the hood that he had done. In addition to the engine swap, not only did he flush the transmisson because I said noticed small deficiences, he also changed the water pump, flushed the cooling system, changed the temperature gauge, fixed all of the loose seals, topped off all the fluids, and even put in small replacement parts such as a new overflow tank, radiator cap, etc. I was honestly amazed at the amount of effort he put into my car. Now, after an *extremely* reasonable price and a few days of patience, my car runs better than before. Thank you, Mehti.
