I like this place had alittle issue as far as what was insulated copper wire. One of the guys just put everything together and only gave me 55 cents a pound I called arther the manager he reviewed the tapes a gave me an extra 40 bucks and it's the third time it happened but besides that. There pretty good. If the skinny black guy is doing ur metal. Very fair and will answer any questions u may have. Bc if ur not knowledgable to what things are going for like anything else thell take advantage so know b4 u go. But def a good plAce they will guide u and help u unload and u will get a ticket and on there will b everything u brought and the price they gave u

No effort to provide any guidance or help me figure out where I needed to go to unload my car of scrap. Eventually got a guy there to tell me what to do, he tells me to start pulling in as soon as another car pulls out. Other car pulls out, I start to pull in and the dude closes the gate on me and says "oh, we're closing. Come back tomorrow at 10". No, jerk, 2 mins ago you told me to back in. I'm not driving a car full of metal back on the highway because you can't be bothered to work 10 mins until your posted closing time.

This was the coolest experience- not having any experience in visiting scrap metal place - The gentleman waiting instructed me on the protocols and everyone waited patiently and was very friendly. The workers there are very helpful friendly and efficient. And the man that checked me out was very polite easy-going and welcoming. Decent prices and great experience highly recommend Bridgeport scrap!

Don't go here, they robbed me practically with what they gave me for scrap cat 6 cable. 50 cents a pound, ridiculous. Just got .96 cents a pound for it at cable management in Meriden.
