Great establishment to work with! My wife and I looked at a vehicle (‘12 Nissan Murano) that they had for sale that was getting a lot of attention. We were the 3rd couple to look at it that day and another family came in to look at the same car as we were still just walking around it. Scott was very up front about the condition of the car and the attention it was getting and what he had to have for it. We test drove it, liked it, and agreed on a price however, we couldn’t get the check until the next morning. We thought we would lose the car if we didn’t complete the sale right then but, Scott looked me in the eyes and shook my hand and said, “I’ll see you in the morning!” He held the car until I got there the next morning and we completed the sale. Very honest and up front businessman that stands behind his word!

Talked with the owner about a car I was looking to sell. He gave me great advice, to his own detriment, and was completely honest and forthright. It was refreshing to deal with someone with so much integrity and honesty. Many of the negative reviews on this page are for a tow company that is not affiliated with this business at all. Just a heads up. This guy is super honest and easy to chat with.

[ ^ THAT ^ is not my name - I am writing this on a borrowed computer.] I needed a good truck engine and found these guys on Car-Parts.com. I got a STEAL on a unit out of a wrecked pickup that had been part of a government fleet ! JACKPOT !!! It doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil and sounds like a Rolex ticking over at idle. It's a V6 so it doesn't rip up the road or snap your neck - but it gives me everything it's got whenever I mash on it. Hell I didn't even change spark plugs or any thing. It was doing it's thing in govt. service one day and somehow it got smashed beyond redemption. Now it's in my pickup and it just feels nice and broke in good. PS - I read some of the other reviews on here before I ever went there. Staff at the yard didn't hold my hand or anything or try to be my best friend - but they did snatch my engine out so fast it caught me totally off guard, loaded it for me like old pros - and that was that, JOB DONE. What more anybody could reasonably ask for - I have no idea.

Good people, cheap parts

We purchased a 2014 Nissan CVT with a 30 day money back & the CVT was bad. I honestly thought we would get some resistance on the refund but they were really understanding & had no hesitation in issuing a full refund! I'd give more stars if I could. This is a true to their word company & I'll continue to use them. Recommend them to all!!

Great place to find used auto parts

Please please treat customers better and please have the items that you say you do. You have a good history and been there for years. Now people are posting videos of your workers not wanting to pull parts or help customers. We love God mom and pop Harrisonville businesses. Please whip those guys into shape to serve the customers that want to spend money and patronize...

Bought an engine from Allen $1,200 turned out had some issues with it. They refunded all my money no questions asked! Nice bunch of people here, I would do biz with them anytime, they do stand behind what they sell

Found the parts I needed on car-parts.com and had a picture of the donor vehicle from Busy Bee Auto Salvage. GREAT customer service through the entire process and was able to pick up the parts at a very fair price. Will always check here first for future projects and very glad to find this business. Thanks!!!

Nice enough group of folks. Do what they say. I didn't like that my van quit me on the road and they got my van, 3 near new tires AND my few months old battery for $100.00. But it's a done deal.
- CChris Boutin
They were great and hook me up with the parts I needed! I live out of town so it was a true blessing. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of great customer service. Thanks Mike Lee Lincoln Ne

First impressions are always important. This location is in a run down building with an office full of dust, dirt, and disrespectful employees with a "mightier than thou" attitude. Its one thing for a garage to be dirty from work being done but a FRONT OFFICE with dust that's accumulated since the 80s is disgusting and speaks volumes about the owner and his employees. Also despite missouri law they will still charge you for days they're not open and will charge you "extra" for someone to come in and won't allow you to retrieve any items from your vehicle unless you pay their fees. Missouri law states: "Be open or available to a customer to make arrangements for a minimum of ten hours per day, Monday through Friday, for fifty-two weeks per year, excluding any federal holidays, for a customer or his or her authorized agent or an insurance adjuster, as defined in section 324.1100, to view or retrieve items from a vehicle with no additional fees charged, or to retrieve the vehicle at the posted rate, during these regular business hours. A towing company shall not assess any storage fee on a day which the towing company is not open for business during such regular business hours" DO NOT use this service. Even the Towing Association says this practice is improper.

couldnt get off work so had wife go pick up part for me. needed headlight assy. they gave her just the headlight, and it has a broken tab. when i called and asked about the turn signal and running light I was informed they are seperate parts and would cost 25$ more. have called 4 other salvage yards and they will sell me everything as an assy. 3 of the places in KC were even cheaper, selling the whole thing! when I mentioned the light had a broken mount and wanted to bring it back they informed there was a 20% re stock fee. Will definitley never ever deal with these rude over charging people again. ok, took off work next day and went there. After talking to the owner, or guy in charge, they got me the rest of the light assy. no charge and no hassle.

On Facebook says it pays top dollar for salvaged cars. He offered me 200-300. I called midway and they offered me 700.

Bought a car. I'd rather pull my own tooth! It turned out to be a good experience. That sounds like a 5-star review to me.
- WWilliam Baltes
If the motor wasn't in the condition it was in, it would be 1 star. But so far, great parts, good prices, but jeez there building, grounds, and facial expressions need some serious help
- JJulie Nelson
I would definitely recommend this place!!! They are nice guy's and are very helpful!! Being a woman afraid of being ripped off...I felt comfortable with their business!!!
- DDA Reid
Got my car towed cuz of car wreck and they took it to there place 25 mi and stayed there for one day went to pick it up it was $750 they say it's $150 to do a wreck in kc and $150 to put car on tow bed cuz of wreck but car was movable and there were lot of other things they said too and when I told them I'll be in there to look at bill they said sorry there's nothing I can do to help you you have to pay it or you don't get ur car they are rip offs I will never go back cuz the way they talked to me and try to steel my car from me bad people don't go there there are a lot cheaper places out there
- WWilliam Lemke
Daughter meet a deer on the highway. Found the parts to repair her car at Busy Bee for less than $300. Employees were knowledgeable and helpful. Would recommend.
- JJosh Wider
I called the to see if they had a transmission for my car. They said yes we have one listed. I drove from Clinton to Harrisonville just to find out they didn't have one. What a joke these guys are! There is nothing "busy"about busy bee I would not recommend them to anyone!
- BBrianna Velez
Waiting over 4 hours for a tow that takes no more than 30 minutes is a blast. I've wasted my entire day waiting because they can't even give me a ETA. " We will be there once we are done." Yay!
- JJerry Harrison
Employees don't seem to be real great people persons, but they let me roam the yard to find bits here and there, and I got a brush guard pretty cheap along with a decent set of rims, both under 200 total.
- MMrJackson66
Great little salvage yard, friendly service, knowledgeable staff, pulled my parts while I got to sit in the ac, and was fast...
- CCody Johnson
