Back at ELG today and everything went smoothly. Dan the scale master was very efficient AS ALWAYS. He keeps things moving quite well with everything that goes on there. I have been there 4 sometimes 6 times a month for the past 3 years. Dan has always been professional and courteous. I have never had a problem. Chad and Gino are also very helpful and courteous. If you treat people with respect you get respect!!!

1st visit, no CB, had issues.2nd visit & the 100 visits since then with a CB and the places is great. Dan in the scale does everything possible to speed things up, I wouldn't want his job some days when they're busy.24 hours parking available, dumps are taken 7am-2pm

Been coming here for years. Sometimes the loading docks are slammed and that slows everything down but Greg is really fast at unloading. Never dumped here but it looks all paved and flat. Stay in the gravel parking lot till you’re called for ok the radio

Great people - usually very quick in and out. Some negative posts about the scale operator are usually due to lack of a CB; he is directing every truck to the scales all day long on channel 24 and keeps traffic moving well.

Avoid this place if you canThe scale master is extremely rude and arrogant. Mocked me and gave me issues because I don’t have a CB in this truck, this isn’t my normal truck mine is in the shop. The phone number also doesn’t work, it takes you to an automated message and then hangs up on you.Awful place. Don’t get a load here if you can avoid it.

Really nice place for a scrap yard. The inbound/outbound process is smooth and Dan at the scale is very professional and friendly. The yard guys are very helpful as well. I come here a few times a month and have never had any issues.

Receiving starts at 7am . First come first serve. CB channel 24. Always a good experience here delivering. There is room for overnight parking. Receiving scale is on the right of the scale house . Take turns on the scale, one inbound and one outbound. The only bathroom facilities here for drivers is a porta john in the parking lot. This place can get busy at times so dont be in a rush, be patient and wait your turn and bring a snack for yourself and something to drink.

It sucks living by this place, the noise starts at 6am every morning! It sounds like garbage trucks falling off cliffs all day long. Had I known, I definitely would have reconsidered moving to Port Vue.

My son and his father have worked here for years. The office personnel are very friendly and efficient...I've spoken with them before. This company is a "metal scrap" plant and it is kept very clean and professional.

Premium room to park scale and scale out but maybe two for receiving pretty quick unload an hour to hour and a half tops
