The clerk was excellent on the phone and when I drove there from far away there was lots of parking. Inside they are Covid-responsible, professional and friendly. They gave me a good map but I still had to ask an employee in the yard for help. I found two suitable vehicles for the part I wanted and easily removed it. The amount was fair and I was back out within 30 minutes. If you're travelling from far there coffee shops and restaurants close by and a Costco with the cheapest gas on the SW coast of BC.

Great auto parts picker yard. They have an amazing selection of numerous vehicles of all makes and models. My only real issue is that many of the tool cars that you use to lug around tools and parts around the yard are pretty beaten up after so many years of use and abuse. All around great place, and even better prices.

Good morning, I have a question regarding your return policy on parts bought from your yard and removed by the customer.While I can understand that you offer only exchange, gift card, or credit in the case where a customer has bought the wrong part, my issue is if the customer supplied the vehicle information to your counter person, and and that person gave the wrong information on compatibility to the customer, who then removed the part from the indicated vehicle, and purchased the part.Now if the part is wrong, based on your employee's error, I would be happy to accept an exchange part, even though my original labour to remove the first part would be wasted.However, the employee has informed us that the correct part is not available.I would think that an exception could be made to refund the customer, who may not have a need for the credit any time in the future.And to verify that the error was yours, the part request was called in the day before and given the incorrect info. The next day, the part was picked up by a different person, who did not reference the original request, but again gave the vehicle info and was again given the wrong part information on which he based his purchase.I have used Empire several times in the past, and always received good service from your friendly employees. But now, because of this $30 which may never be recovered, it kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth for the future.If this issue can be resolved satisfactorily, I would be happy to update my review to excellent, where I believe it should be.Thank you very much!

Best place to buy used parts in lower mainland. Even if you live far from it, worth the drive. Great inventory website, prices are fair, staff members are friendly and professional on phone and in person. I have been here few times for different parts, sway bar, rims, small components, resonator intake pipes, latches. If prices you feel are not good and decide not to take the item, the staff will ask again name a price we can work something out (within reason of course), and I always leave a happy customer. You bring your own tools to pull your own parts.

Ah Lou and his auto parts yard. I can't say one negative thing about this man or his staff. Empire has always been there for me when I have been in a jam. Everytime I step into his yard, im a kid again.
