Buyer beware untrue listings. Two weeks ago, I found a paint-color match for a lift gate for my vehicle on car-part.com. It was listed with no damage, the gate was on the car, and the picture looked good. So I decided to make an impromptu 2.5 hour trip to this place to get it. Right before I left I got a call that the spoiler was gone - they sold it. No problem, I thought, I can reuse that piece from my current vehicle. Then I make the trip down, and go to take a look at the gate. To my surprise, it was now off the car, which seemed great at first until I realized it was just thrown onto some gravel which had the bottom edge all scratched up. But even worse, there were now some NASTY gouges in the paint (down to the primer). These gouges were very apparent and ugly and definitely NOT disclosed. My hunch is that they happened after the gate was removed from the car. Needless to say, after giving up a whole day off work, I was very upset. To their credit, they agreed to negotiate the price, so I did end up buying it, but very reluctantly. Now I need to decide if I want to touch up the scratches or pay like $1,000 to have it painted. Anyway, this experience was much less than ideal, and I give 2 stars only because they agreed to reduce the price.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Their parts are not inspected and very likely to be defective!!! I bought a transmission for a VW that was sent with metal shards in the pan, my mechanic asked me what to do, they kindly sent another one! That was installed. (bent parts - but they used previous one and swapped). this was defective! they pulled this one out and installed a 3rd which was also defective! I then paid $250 additional through my mechanic at a VW site to test it which proved multiple codes/issues and they did not reimburse that. I had them come pick up the spare transmission and was issued an RMA - hwoever they refused to refund me a dollar! I am pissed. *** I will remove this negative rating if this is resolved but the public deserves to know they will waste labor and time trying to save money on used parts here. BUYER BEWARE!!****

I was on a search for months trying to find a piece for my rear quarter window. With no success, I ended up at the Brandywine Junkyard purchasing a whole window with the piece included because that was the only option. I was referred to the Foreign Auto Part location for installation. Everyone was very professional and explained why I had to purchase the window and not just the piece. The price was reasonable. I definitely would return and recommend them to others.
