Don't waste your time with scrap copper at this location. I made the mistake of weighing my copper without asking the price first. I went because it was close to my house. Every other place around is offering over 4 dollars a pound. They gave me 2.20 for #1 which is an absolute rip off. Take the time to drive somewhere else!

This place is a hidden gem! If you're looking for older car parts- then Kar Parts is a stop you don't want to pass by. Wear some boots, bring a bottle of water and your tool bag and explore. There's about 50 acres and its big- you just have to get out and look, this is true old school cool. Been here a few times and it's a great spot for stuff 90s and older. Especially 80s and older. If you're looking for some Chevy and Ford truck parts, there's plenty of that here. However, there's also a wide mix of other stuff- dating all the way back to the 1940s. This is a scrap yard too, so there's alot of activity on the metal scrapping side as well. You got to go out and look though- because there's trails all over. Stuff is hiding all through here, even behind some rows in there's sometimes cars and trucks mixed among trees. Friendly and laid back people that treat you right.

Horrible experience.<br>Called ahead of time and told the woman what I needed. Let her know that I would be coming after work. Got here 34 minutes before closing just to get a mirror and tail light. Owner sent me away because he had to leave at 5 which wasn’t for 34 minutes. It wouldn’t have taken me 10 minutes to get what I needed. Why have me drive all the way here to turn me away? Told me to come back tomorrow. Wasted my time and gas for NOTHING! Will never recommend or try to come here again.
