Bought a used transmission, told me it would be ready for pickup on Friday but called me a day early and I came and got it. Gave me a good deal and a great warranty. Put the new transmission in and it worked great. Would highly recommend purchasing parts from 221👍

This is an excellent place to buy parts from!!! These guys know what they are doing and care about how they pack their orders! I ordered three Honda radios from Mike for my shop. The package arrived in Pa. three days later, which is a quick turnaround time. Each radio was individually bubble wrapped and packaged very well! All of the radios were the correct part numbers! I was extremely happy nothing was wrong with them. My shop regularly buys these radios from Fenix, LKQ, and other PRP yards. Most of those yards, either send the radios poorly packed and damaged, the wrong part number or a completely different part! When these things happen, I have to spend a lot of time back and forth on the phone and via email to resolve the issues. That’s not the case with 221 Auto Parts & Recycling. The entire process from ordering, removing from vehicle and shipping is done correctly from beginning to end! Excellent customer service!!!

Ive been dealing with salvage yards all my life ! Was a buy here pay here dealer for 30 years ! Im used to friendly family owned business where if u frequent often or buy more than just some random small parts being able to negotiate! Chris was very helpful and willing to deal ! Great people ! In an age where Multi Billion $ companies are buying out all the small guys ! Nice to see all is not lost and there is a thing called service hospitality reasonable prices ! Highly recommend them ! was told one price, asked to hold would be down next day, called and said i was on my way, got there and had to wait an hour for them to pull the wheel i was there for, then was charged $25 more than was told the day before for a scratched up wheel, very poor customer service.

I use to go there all the time but now it' s a joke. If you need more than one part or you're working on a project its a disaster. You can't go see what they have and they don't know unless they're sitting on it. They had some great guys but now they seem lazy and unconcerned about their jobs.

While trying to recycle my old HVAC system I went to 221 first. I had my invoice from the installation of my new system with me. 221 said that wasn't sufficient and I needed a scrape metal permit from sheriff's office. Next day I stop by sheriff's office who informed me that 221 was wrong. I already had everything I needed (invoice for new system) for a one time recycling of old HVAC. The lady working at the 221 office was very nice just misinformed.

I was going to leave a incoherent, illegible, and irrelevant similar to those of another local recycling center (you know who you are), but NO! I was going to consider selling catalytic converters I had cut off of my neighbor’s cars to another recycling center, BUT I DID NOT! I was totally not going to ask the dude that works at the front office about Coca Cola products (seriously don’t do it, you’ll be there all afternoon listening about how Mountain Dew is the Devil), BUT I DID ANYWAY! Want to know why I do these things? Well part of it is that the current price of scrap is just enough to support my Forrest Gump Memorbilia addiction, BUT ALSO because 221 Recycling is the best damn recycling center in the area! Damnit, I’d buy my groceries from these guys if they recycled them! 5/5 would sell shady copper wiring to these guys again. I’d give them six damn stars if I could because I hate odd numbers, but Google is the Devil so they won’t let me do me, boo. >:(
