Only reason we ended up using them is bc they are open on the weekend. The lady running the scale was more concerned about talking on her speaker phone about tents and camping then communicating anything about where to go or even if she was done with weighing. The scrape yard where they want you to drive was full of screws and nails. It's a scrape yard I get it but the amount was absolutely ridiculous. We got rid of the junk but with a high possiblity of having to repair tires. Use them if necessary but be aware may cost more in the long run.

Only went here because Auburn Omnisource was closed when I got there. They paid 60.00 less per ton on shread steel compared to the Fort Wayne scrap yards. The people there were great though.

Not sure why you have Saturday business hours until 12pm when you close the scales at 11:45am. May as well change your closing time to 11:45 so nobody wastes a trip there like I did.

This is so disgusting!!! Scrapping a vehicle with this place is so risky, they try to scam at every level. This place is scamming people they are literally offering less than half the scrap price. Then they prefer you leave your catalytic converter but they won’t pay you for it!

This place will pay you for scrap based on the mood there in and if they like you or not they can say your 6 thousand pounds of steel is shred which will not pay you very much shred is like motherboards and broom handles and electronics luckily I don't rely on scrap for money

Gave decent price when I brought a full trailer load in. Drive in at your own risk, I realize its a scrap yard but 4 of 8 of my trailer tires were flat by the time i got home. I spent more than I made there, to buy new tires. That being said, its still my go to place when I've got stuff to scrap, just be careful and know the risk of driving all the way around

Waste of time. Hours posted until noon on Saturday and get there with a load of junk and can't drop off because you're closed at 11:45.

Alum can scrap rate vari between 60 to 30 cents per lb. 5052 alum is 66 cents per lb. They gave 35 and 34 cents per lb. Not cool 😎. Be sure to check around for best price. Companies are into greed mode thanks to our goverment.

Old man in the yard dog was horrible, as soon as we pulled off the scale yelling and cursing at us when we were setting up to back. Overall bad experience.
