Call ahead to make sure they are open! On a Saturday, I spent 30 minutes driving down here to recycle a lawn mower through the State of Utah's CARROT program, to find that they are closed. They changed their hours and have yet to update their website, Apple Maps, or Google Maps listings. Also, the lady who managed the scales quite some time ago was an absolute jerk, but the new employees are much better.

Called ahead for a pricing of what I would brought (washing machine). They said I would probably get 100 bucks for it, give or take with a few dollars. Went there, they gave me $9 bucks...they are just dishonest. I didn't say anything at first because I didn't hear well, I thought they said 89, but later in the car my husband repeated the amount. It was too late to complain.

Best recycling center I’ve been to. Fast, convenient, super organized and helpful friendly staff. It’s nice to see businesses take pride in there operations. Most metal recycling businesses are dirty dumps. Not MCR!! First time I’ve actually enjoyed delivering my metal. Thanks!!!

Great place to take your unwanted metal for a few bucks! They take appliances here and actually pay you for them. Just make sure the coolent has been evacuated from refrigerators and freezers before bringing them here or they will have to charge you to evacuate them!

The people in the office are great. The people outside who you deal with the most need to learn ther jobs a lot better and they also need to work on their people skills. A lot of the times like today I only scrapped a quarter of what had in my van because of the lack of knowledge the worker there have. I have done it four or five other times also.

For 7 years I use this place to recycle thin Gage galvanized steel scraps from my sheet metal shop just up the road from MCR. Every month Id bring in between 1000 to 2200 lbs of clean galvanized steel in a hand fabricated metal bin with forklift slots in the bottom. Just recently I was told that Im not welcome back , they will not give me an explanation at all they say is don't come back.ive tried emailing MCR there's no response I've asked them what I did wrong. I'm a simple person. I don't create problems I solve them. I had to start going to Western recycling in Provo.

This was a convenient place for me to go because I used to live really close. I now live in Payson and they are now about 25-30 minutes away and the only reason I still go there now is because of Gloria, the lady who will check you in on the scale when you first enter and then after you've unloaded. She's the nicest to me ever!
