Under new ownership. The new owner is a liar and big time waster. Would not deal with ever again.

The owner is a super nice guy once you have a rapport with him. I'm sure he's had to deal with less than great folks over the years. He was nice to my kids and didn't try and screw them over when they sold their collected pop cans.

A nice small operation which accepts iron as well as nonferrous metals all in one location.

Receiving staff are not the friendliest customer service people I have met. They didn't separate my scrap to get a better price on some items (not the first time either). Checked other scrap yards later on, prices seem to be a little higher elsewhere. Will not be going back there

Prefer take your stuff elsewhere they rob u. Half the price than any place in dayton

Nice enough guys that work here. My biggest issue is having to drive to the scale. There is clutter everywhere and it's hard to maneuver if you have a big truck. I'm hoping I didn't pick up a nail in my tire.

The guys there are really nice and they help in any way possible. I will never go to a different yard because these guys have treated me so well. Thank you valley metal. You're awesome

I can't complain, they are a pretty typical scrapyard. I always have to call for their hours though, so here they are: 8-4:30 Mon-Fri 8-12 Sat

Never had any issues. There like good old country boys and there ain’t nothing wrong with that since I’m one to.

Fast and great payout. Friendly workers and a scale you can actually look at. Its a small business with American workers. A returning seller for sure.
