This is an easy and convenient location to recycle your scrap metal. Unless you have a lot it might not be worth collecting the payment, but still keeps the useful metal out of the dump.

They pay $0.10 per LB. It's extremely low, but I wanted to drive close enough for a 40-lb recycle. I had a car engine to recycle. The process was relatively easy. I registered in the office, and then they weighed my car with the recycled engine together. I drove to the field, tossed the engine, and weighed my car again. In total, they paid $4. Better than nothing for me.

Had some friends tell me to take my stuff somewhere else and should have listened. Took truck load of steel and they are paying 45 dollars a ton. It doesn't even pay to save it then. I started going to Newlon in Kokomo and. Winslow is always under half of what they give. Until we get better recycle place here I guess I'll continue to drive 45 minutes away.
