Left me stranded in the dark. Absolute zero empathy. I am beyond furious with how I was treated at this store tonight. My headlights completely burned out late at night, leaving me stranded and terrified to drive home in the dark. I literally walked into this store at 8:59 p.m. looking for a lifeline.I wasn't begging for a favor. I didn’t want free service, advice, or for anyone to install anything for me. I just desperately needed to buy two simple bulbs so I could swap them out myself and get home safely. It would have taken the staff two minutes max to ring me up.Instead, the guy flatly refused to sell them to me. The second I stepped inside, he snapped at me saying, "What are you doing? We're closing. You just entered seconds before." When I literally begged him and explained that I couldn't drive home safely without lights, he completely brushed me off and said, "I don't see how that is my problem."To leave a paying customer stranded in a dangerous situation over a two-minute transaction because you want to walk out the door exactly at closing time is disgusting. They showed zero human decency or empathy. Although, O'Reily is the closest auto parts store to my house, but I will never step foot in an O'Reilly ever again. I am completely done buying anything from this company.

I received exactly the help I was looking for here. I sought advice about what sort of products I could get to touch up my exterior, and a someone with clearly years of experience came out to walk around my car and offer practical, usable advice. I’m typically someone who will spend hours watching YouTube and reading auto forums / Reddit for collective advice, but sometimes I really just want someone who’s been around the block to give me some direct guidance. My truck had begun overheating, and I stopped at O’Reilly hoping for guidance. Ed stepped in with a level of care, patience, and experience that you rarely see anymore. Despite the engine being extremely hot from a 20-minute drive, he took the time — and exercised real caution — to safely open the coolant reservoir so he could diagnose what was wrong. He discovered the coolant was dangerously low and added over a gallon to ensure my truck was safe to drive. This was not something he had to do. It was something he chose to do, and it made all the difference. Ed is clearly a seasoned, dedicated employee whose depth of experience truly shines. His willingness to help, his steady presence, and his genuine kindness turned a stressful situation into one where I felt cared for and supported.
