I own Payless Salvage Auto Parts and i have been buying from this yard for a few years now. However, I recently just purchased a 3.0 Infiniti Q50 engine. They said it was a running engine. When we got the engine, the first thing any mechanic will do is the check the oil. we checked and saw some sludge in there, so the tech removed the pan and valve covers. it was completely full of sludge. I sent videos the John and Valeria, and they told me since i opened the engine ( remove oil pan and valve covers) that the engine would no longer have any warranty. I then asked, well if we install and it doesn't work, they said they will warranty it. I was told yes, it would be under warranty. Well we installed and the engine and it has rod knock. I sent the video of the bad motors and good heats tabs. ? I was then told it wont be under warranty. MG's policy is if you open an engine they wont warranty it, i then asked what if we want new valve covers or pan gaskets? i was then told to install the motor first and if it leaks, replace the gasket. I purchased regularly at this yard and now i will do absolutely no business with them at all. Cheers Eddie
