Sold them copper once before and was paid "fair". Took them a 50lb deep cycle marine battery today, (they are FULL of lead in comparison to normal car batteries), and was only paid $6?! I could have gotten $12 just at Walmart, but I try to use local businesses whenever I can. Per scrap lead prices today, I should have gotten at least $20? I would have taken it somewhere else, but I didn't want to load it back up and mess with it during rush hour. Unfortunately, I will have to take my scrap somewhere else from now on. Prices paid here seem to be predatory.

Originally I would have gave it five stars because when they scrapped my metal they called everything what it was and gave me the right price the first time..I went this time and one time before and they told me that my brass was painted aluminum when I had an entire bucket full of other full brass items.. I'm a plumber I know what brass is and for them to give me a painted aluminum on all of it even though there was a couple of plates that were aluminum and not painted. And the time before I brought brand new copper and they give me type 2 dirty copper. its looking like a hustle not based on evidence and facts ..it's .40 cents for painted aluminum and it's a 1.63 for bras$. And thats dirty brass. My 25 lbs would have came out a lot more. I no longer like this place there's a reason they change workers all the time. They probably do them dirty so they have to do us dirty-errr.. do they get commission here?I don't know?
