I have come here on multiple occasions and have never had a pleasant experience with Dan. So much to the point it has come to me writing a review. He was incredibly rude, condescending, and made multiple unwanted comments and rude remarks. I would not recommend working with him as he makes you feel dumb for not knowing what kind of parts you need for your car. Would give him a 0/5 if I could. Corporate needs to take a look into the kind of people they are hiring to represent their company. Not to mention, another lady came in and was complaining about him to the staff as well right after we asked to work with someone else. HORRIBLE customer service on his part.

Dan is an Exceptional Asset—He Saved the Day in a Crisis! ​I arrived at AutoZone on a rainy day with a dead battery and my two small children in the car, feeling completely stranded. An employee initially assisted me, and although he was kind, he insisted my battery was fine and attempted to give me another jump start, which failed. Despite my car still not starting, he maintained the battery was fine and told me there was nothing else to be done, effectively giving up and going inside. ​Dan, one of your incredible employees, immediately stepped in and offered to take a closer look. He was even told by the other employees, "You're not a mechanic," as they left. Dan quickly determined the issue: severe acid buildup on the side of the battery that everyone else had missed. ​Dan took charge and expertly guided me through purchasing a new battery, which he installed properly. He got my car started immediately, and I haven't had a single issue since. Dan's kindness, mechanical knowledge, and willingness to step up when others had given up were truly outstanding. He is a phenomenal asset to AutoZone, and because of his exceptional service, I will absolutely be a returning customer.

I went into the store to return an item and asked if I could leave it at the counter while I shopped, explaining that I needed to make a return. The employee, Mike, responded, “I’ll throw it away for you,” which immediately struck me as odd. I continued shopping and later came back to confirm whether the item was actually returnable. He then said no. That’s fine - but why not say that from the start? The issue isn’t that the item couldn’t be returned; it was the unnecessary attitude and poor communication. Weird experience.
